That's fine. I could sell my house and then buy your house plus the whole block.

But I don't like living around rednecks, hicks, and country bumpkins.

One would think Tennessee has a big economic base. Oh wait California has the business base.

True. People from all over sell their high priced homes from places like CA, move here, buy something as large as (if not larger than) the one they previously owned, shove the rest of their money in an annuity, and live like kings.

The only problem those of us currently living/working here is that, to do the same, we'd have to move to Central America. And not the good places.

Better pack some heat too since they're moving to a state that is riddled with crime. Second to only Washington DC. Cali didn't make top 10 here either. Also note majority are red states.

Ahh yes statistics, take them as you will. If you look at raw numbers instead of per capita CA is #1 in FS spending in 2015 at 4,416,807 and TN #11 with 1,149,608. But yes per capita TN has about 17.5% of the population receiving FS and the per capita income is less than half that of CA. Perhaps it is all the CA retirees that cant afford to live in CA anymore moving to TN that is contributing to the FS usage.

I wont even get into how the per capita crime rate is calculated. But by all means keep spreading the word.

Hardee's moving its office will probably hurt St. Louis more than Carl's Jr moving out of California. California can recruit foreigners or techies to take over any spare office space.

Don't know how much the people of Nashville will benefit from an office full of well off but cost-conscious people.

What ever you say!

""California Girls"

Well East coast girls are hip
I really dig those styles they wear
And the Southern girls with the way they talk
They knock me out when I'm down there

The Mid-West farmer's daughters really make you feel alright
And the Northern girls with the way they kiss
They keep their boyfriends warm at night

I wish they all could be California
I wish they all could be California
I wish they all could be California girls

The West coast has the sunshine
And the girls all get so tanned
I dig a french bikini on Hawaii island
Dolls by a palm tree in the sand

I been all around this great big world
And I seen all kinds of girls
Yeah, but I couldn't wait to get back in the states
Back to the cutest girls in the world

I wish they all could be California
I wish they all could be California
I wish they all could be California girls

I wish they all could be California
(Girls, girls, girls yeah I dig the)
I wish they all could be California
(Girls, girls, girls yeah I dig the)
I wish they all could be California
(Girls, girls, girls yeah I dig the)
I wish they all could be California
(Girls, girls, girls yeah I dig the)

The original Hardee's company HQ was in North Carolina. Over the decades, the brand has purchased other brands but in was itself purchase by the owners of the Carl's Jr. brand, CKE Restaurants. CKE HQ was in California.

I suppose maybe they will need help for realizing how wonderful life can be out from under the nanny government and idiocracy from jerry brown, kamala harris, gavin newsom, and the rest of the communist ilk that control the once great state of California, and have turned it into a gigantic pos.

Just leave their commie attitudes in commieland, and I'm sure everything will be just fine for them.
