Because the OP was desperate to find a poll that indicated Trump is loved.

In related news, Rasmussen reports Angela Lansbury and Dick Van Dyke most popular entertainers of 2018!

Rasmussen is a crap poll.

Quoting the approval rating from Rasmussen is cherry picking to the extreme. Four other opinion polls (CNN, Gallup, Quinnipiac, USA Today) all show Trump with a 37, 38, or 39 percent approval rating. The average of all polls in Politics 538 is a very low 39% approval rating for Trump. Right where it was just before he gave his State of the Union speech.

Plus its Trump supporters that are always telling me that "the polls mean nothing".

Its ok. Those of us in the know, know that Trump is right on schedule to be beaten in 2020.

Default Interesting Trump v Obama Poll

Quote:
President Trump’s approval rating in one of the major daily tracking polls has improved significantly and is now higher than President Barack Obama’s on the same date of his first term.
The Rasmussen Reports daily survey released Thursday shows that Mr. Trump’s approval rating is at 48 percent, statistically tied with his disapproval rating of 50 percent.
Until late last week, his disapproval rate has been above 50 percent every day for 10 months. But Thursday marked the fifth consecutive day his approval rating was 48 percent or 49 percent, after sometimes dipping into the 30s.
And this week’s Rasmussen numbers even top Mr. Obama’s comparable figures.
On Feb. 8, 2010, Mr. Obama had a clear majority disapproving of his performance as president — 54 percent versus just 46 percent approval.

Its only one poll but it is interesting to see Trump had a higher approval rating on this date then Obama did on the same date in 2010.

Yeah, you forgot to mention that you are comparing Rasmussen with Rasmussen. That makes a huge difference, and if you don't say that you will be accused of 'clutching at straws' or 'ignoring the big picture'.

Well, someone is going to say that, anyway.

What is the 'big' picture? Hillary lost and Trump won?

What happened to the polls are wrong, 500 people being called on a phone isn't statistically significant nor accurate, no one ever called me, and Trump voters are too busy working to answer questions arguments?

Key word only one poll. In EVERY OTHER poll, Obama was higher. The RCP average of polls has Obama considerably higher.
