That’s curious isn’t it? A low 40’s is in his comfort zone.

this has become the main thread on trump approval polls so most poll threads get merged into it.

42.7 to 44.7

i find it fascinating that his approval is so consistent. if you look at other president's approval there are dramatic shifts corresponding to events or presidential actions/statements. trump doesn't have that, indicating to me that his popularity is based on his personality and not any actions or policy.

It stays fairly consistent as does the gap between his approval and disapproval ratings.

The coal miners are still out of work. Soybean market is in the toilet and farmers are going broke. Manufacturing employment is on the decline. Yet Trump supporters are carrying on like happy days are here again.

For all the bragging about the unemployment rate, the percentage of 25-54 year olds in the workforce has been higher in the past, and wages have not gone up any meaningful amount.

Lots of bragging about the stock market, but that's the playground of the rich. Eventually, they'll pull another scam to get the retirement savings of the working folks. That's a given.

Meanwhile, the federal deficit was a trillion dollars last year and going up.

submitting your opinion as fact? The people with the wage increases probably disagree with you.

HAW. The crooked pollsters call a few hundred land lines then profess to tell us how things are going. Fodder for the desperate & weak minded. Here's reality of Trump's true popularity.

The actual data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics for the past year:
https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/realer.pdf

For all employees: "Real average hourly earnings increased 0.6 percent, seasonally adjusted, from December 2018 to December 2019. The change in real average hourly earnings combined with a 0.6-percent decrease in the average workweek resulted in essentially no change in real average weekly earnings over this period."

For production and nonsupervisory employees: "From December 2018 to December 2019, real average hourly earnings increased 0.7 percent, seasonally adjusted. The change in real average hourly earnings combined with a 0.6-percent decrease in the average workweek resulted in a 0.1-percent increase in real average weekly earnings over this period."

So, GotHereQuickAsICould is correct. The data indicates so.
