this is hardly much a do about nothing given it's a trojan horse law that in reality allows unabated discrimination across the state by employers. it's a BIG DEAL.

and there YOU go ASSuming I am a liberal

A bathroom law that allows "unabated discrimination".... ? I think you over-exaggerate a bit much there...

If Paypal is concerned about this then there are a whole host of questionable legislation they could protest which affects a much larger segment of the population. It is just pandering otherwise it is being hypocrtical.

And as mentioned they do business with countries whose gov'ts have similar practicies.

It is just so foolish on so many levels.

But agreed the law as written does not take all categories in consideration. Remember those pics from another thread? They all looked like guys but were women? No surgery involved. I do not get it. Unless someone is witholding information there may be reasons for guy appearing types to visit female bathrooms and vice versa even with the genitalia being considered. How many people are so affected? 1 out of 1000, 10000, 100000,etc.

Appears gov't insists on ruling every part of our lives, you can do this, not do that. Ridiculous. People have common sense. Maybe not so much courtesy as in previous generations.

I can end mine as well. In fact I think I will do that right now and let em know.

Remember how well the boycott of Chik-Fil-A went.... well, the deviant crowd can help with another one.

And the south/Appalachia wonders why there is no industry there and they're all poor.

No business wants to invest in a workforce of rednecks. They need to get a clue.

Oh well. Their loss is liberal states' and Canada's economic gain, so good for North Carolina and other hick states like 'em

North Carolina actually has a vibrant IT/Resarch/Business region. Known as the Triangle or Golden Triangle.

then maybe you ought to familiarize yourself with the entire law. not just the bathroom access part of it.

the law also bans anti-discrimination protections based on sexual orientation.

Do you actually believe that someone who labels an entire group as rednecks can utilize logic? Such stereotypical KKK-styled branding is a great indication of the lack of logic.

Could you post a link to the actual law? I haven't found it yet.

BTW, I don't believe the state should pass such laws which takes away local authority. I do not agree with NC not allowing the city to choose for itself.
