No data to indicate anything you allege is true. You are just stirring up trouble. Like that black student now going to jail for creating false race based twitter tweets.

You actually believe that rich whites, like Clinton and Trump do not view poor and working class whites as "white trash?"

what's the basis for your 'conclusion"?

you do know that assigning a single characteristic to an entire group is a demonstration of deep prejudice, the basis or sexism and racism.

the "Poor Whites" representative, chosen in a national electon, has always encouraged members to avoid any association with elite whites.

This is another fine example of Leftist projection disorder.

What's considered "poor white"? I only ask due to the 99.9% statistic of poor whites living in a trailer (or low income communities).

Neither party is serving the interests of the working person on the street, white or black.

I'm a middle income white Republican and grew up working class in Tennessee. Most of the poor Republicans I know are Republicans because:

1) They believe in low taxes. The poor often use a lot of taxpayer services disproportionate to their income. Still, poor whites are often advocates for low taxes.

2) They're culturally conservative. Most are religious. Most are firearm owners and enjoy hunting and fishing. Many have a need, or at least a desire to, drive large trucks. Given the area, many worked in southwest VA coal mines. Many believe in traditional marriage. The Democrats are either outright against everything they believe in or give a wink and a nod against their values.

3) They believe in bootstrapping. Whether or not they actually do it is immaterial - they're believers in.

Life is just too hard to worry about lofty issues such as public policies and partisan political intrigue. Indeed, among too many poor Americans, voting and choosing elected officials just isn’t viewed as essential to their lives.

So don't worry too much about other people's votes.

The candidate with the balls to seriously push to mitigate illegal immigration gets my vote..guess who?
Since illegal immigration is the single most largest drain on our overall economy...this is "worth voting for". Anyone else that's tired of funding other peoples lives feel the same...probably not what you want to hear but real nonetheless....check the polls.

Trump, and to an extent, Sanders, are the only ones talking about a lot of the trade issues that have disproportionately affected poor whites.

True.

Hillary is part of the status quo that actively enables the problem. And Cruz...well, let's not go there.
