Have you ever wondered what rich whites really think of you? Martin Shkreli (Former Retrophin and Turing Pharmaceutical CEO) has no problem disclosing to the world what he thinks of poor "hick" whites. Listen to the link below, During the argument, he states, "I own you." It doesn't get more blatant than this, but essentially it's true. It is amazing however that poor whites continue to align with people like trump. Trump probably thinks even less of poor whites.

I was looking for it as soon as I started to read your post. So Damned Predictable.

I am afraid you are not really interested in a real debate or discussion.

There is a poser who asked a better question here before, Why do middle class or working class white people vote Republican?
Why frame the discussion around voting republican vs. voting democrat? There are many rich democrats, like the Clintons...One could therefore ask, why do middle class or working class whites vote democrat? Based on what I've observed, there really isn't much of a difference between the dems and repubs.

I'm more or less looking at the larger issue at hand, which is poor people acting against their own interest. Poor whites and poor blacks routinely do this. --Poor whites vote for rich/elite republicans while poor blacks tend to vote for rich/elite democrats. What exactly is the difference? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that both groups are getting screwed.

well, now we are talking. The bolded, fair point.

Are you now saying that voting is a waste of time? lol You are the one who brought up Donald Trump in your op, no? You are asking a question that is almost impossible to answer. Are you interested in a real debate or you just want to generalize a group of people based on their skin color again?

No you weren't. Go back and read your own OP. You used the OP as an opportunity to specifically bash Trump. Own it.

I'll bite...What exactly is a "poor white"? Relative to a billionaire I'm a "poor white". Truthfully us poor whites (relatively speaking) don't really give a sh_t what people think of us...we work through life trying to better ourselves...we take parenting our children very seriously, we try to have as much fun together as possible, we try to lead a high quality of life standard...honestly we just put our head down, go to work, lead our families, don't ask for free hand-outs and don't spend any time caring what people think or blaming anyone for our shortcomings...Simple.

I mentioned trump, because many poor whites will be voting for him in the general election.

Because it is BS which paints an entire group of people as per your conclusion.

Replace poor white with poor black and white elite with dems and it is the same foolish stereotype thrown around here.

.... and many poor whatever color will be voting for Hillary Clinton as well. According to you, these people try so hard to identify with the white elite. I honestly don't know what point you are trying to make.

I chose to highlight poor whites in this thread, but I've already stated: --Poor whites vote for rich/elite republicans while poor blacks tend to vote for rich/elite democrats. What exactly is the difference? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that both groups are getting screwed.
