So, knowing that the majority of people out there, for whatever reasons, do not agree (not "can't accept" as you mention) with the gay lifestyle, you're okay with putting kids through that. Nice. Glad to know it's about the children and not about the parents' own selfish agenda.
Wouldn't it be wonderful for the whole world to conform to your judgemental, critical ideals, and deny people the right to live life as who they really are....I think I'd rather not....you obviously have a distorted sense of worth to think that your way is the only way.
I'm glad you're not the person raising my children.

Actually, it's not the majority. It's just a relatively small, very loud, extremely judgemental group that has a dogmatic agenda and doesn't consider anyone or anything relevant except their own interpretation of right and wrong.

Isn't your statement itself a little judgemental? She's just making a statement about what she really believes - who she really is - and you are jumping all over her trying to get her to conform to your idea.
Why does a disagreement in lifestyle choices have to be about hate? This is what is so funny about liberals. God forbid someone has some limits to what they believe is right and true. No, my opinion isn't "favorable", but that doesn't mean I hate gay people. I was well-immersed in the gay lifestyle a very long time and my perspective is one of hindsight.
Why do your beliefs have to spill over to others? Why can't you do your own thing and live your own life and let everyone else do the same? How does it impact you if a gay couple marries and adopts a child?
Again you skipped the whole part that was on topic in my post to focus on the part that wasn't.. heck I even put it in bold. and you still ignored it.
I was responding to a different part of your post. I'm not so much interested in your question of "who invented marriage and why". A) the answer differs culturally B) cultural conventions are somewhat fluid, so original intent isn't everything and c) I've got the feeling you're baiting someone into a straw man argument and D) without some research, I don't KNOW the answer. Why don't you just tell us why marriage was invented. That seems to be what you want to do, anyway.

Unfortunately it's contagious.
I happen to think that something that is a basic human right shouldn't be described as "selfish."
This shouldn't even be an issue.

I think the statement of "basic human right" is where all the discussion comes from. I wouldn't see it as a "basic" "right".
You didn't bother to read the link I posted, did you? Didn't think so.
Your link is not from the Bible so has no relavence. You are quoting a reference of an individuals position on what they think the Boble is saying. That is what is so wrong with society today they try to use what they believe and twist the Bible to fit what they want it to fit. Apperently you have no idea what a eunich is, because they have no sexual desire. The Bible talks about some being born that way, others there families made them that way and still others that made themselves that way. Meaning that they lost the desire for sex because they were were castrated or born without testicles. I am relatively sure that is not the case with men that are attracted to other men. These men were thought to be pure and had no desire for things sexual of anykind. There desire or the desire of there families was to give there God a gift of purity and that was why they were favored of God and Jesus.
Did you read in Genesis where God told Adam and Eve to be fruitfull and multipli, or as most people believe, have children.

Yeah, that was back when Adam and Eve were the only two humans on the face of the earth, right? Things have surely changed since then.
I also believe that if the story of Adam and Eve is indeed correct, we are all spawned of incest, which is against the Bible (in Leviticus, same place where homosexuality - specifically male homosexuality only - is said to be an abomination before God).
I think the statement of "basic human right" is where all the discussion comes from. I wouldn't see it as a "basic" "right".
There was once a time not long ago that the majority of people thought women didn't have a right to vote, that slaves didn't have a right to freedom....this is just another rights issue.
