Any group that wears their sexuality on their sleeve like the "San Diego Gay Men's Choir" deserves all the ridicule they get. And alfie? Get over yourself. Being a homosexual is a behavioral choice, having Down's Syndrome is not. To compare the two is just plain stupid.
Not as stupid as claiming that that being gay is a choice.

This isnt "laughing at yourself", that is someone trying to emasculate a man based on his sexuality.
Looks like it was just an honest mistake. This same group has preformed the anthem for the Padres on several other occasions without a problem. Just an honest mistake.

Gay people are just like everyone else IMHO. Some are funny, some are mean, some are too serious, some are boring, some are prejudice, some are unbelievably kind, etc.
Finally, your sexuality is a matter of chemistry not choice.
They apologized but it seems odd that nobody thought about why the chorus was on the field in the first place and played the recorded anthem instead.
