LOL, a safe that requires a quarter million dollar piece of equipment to break into it is not adequate for you.
Sure it is, since it would stop the vast majority of gun thefts. Just b/c an excavator was used to break into the safe, doesn't mean the law is broken.
I think you're under the impression that the purpose of this is to make gun owner feel lovey dovey about their guns being protected. It's not. It's about stopping the flow of guns into the black market, and punishing the owners of any guns that do end up there.
It doesn't matter if you're not responsible enough to safe guard your guns, or you're fanatic enough to have too big an arsenal to properly secure all of them, or if you're just so unlucky that the quality safe you bought was broken into w/ an excavator b/c the end result is the same -- guns flowing into the black market.
It's time to start holding the people who are responsible, liable.
More intensive background checks along with longer waiting periods. In addition, gun shows, as the Al-Qaeda leader encouraged his followers to go to in this video, should no longer be allowed.
Do ya think there might be more murders, robberies, theft, etc.....if we had no laws?
Wow, you still can't apply logic can you?
Gun laws outlaw a tool not act. Laws against murdering someone are about an act.

He might as well have said his followers should use a 3D printer to make themselves a stinger missile, because it would be just as factually accurate.
Nobody can purchase a gun from a vendor at a gun show without an ID and background check. That is a FACT.
Sure, you can go to a gun show and buy a fully automatic weapon from a person selling it in a parking lot, which is illegal, but that is just an illegal sell that no law will fix.

I don't know, nor is it really that relevant.
Out of all the tons of cocaine that happen each week, how much of that cocaine started off as a legal purchase?
Make all guns illegal like cocaine and they'll still be sold illegally just like cocaine.
Oh boy! Do terrorists ever love you, but they will kill you anyway!
They'll also vote against my best interest. No background check required for the right to vote.
