Only the truly naive thinks we can "stop mass shootings".
Short of getting Barbara Eden to fold her arms and nod her head you aren't going to eliminate guns.
Just curious as to your take on why it is that we have had more guns than people since the beginning of our country and yet we didn't have any problem like this until the last 30 years or so.
Did you know you used to be able to mail order guns? Lee Harvey Oswald did exactly that.
What is it that has changed in our culture where we were fine with having plenty of guns for the first 180-200 years or so, but now suddenly guns are evil and will stop at nothing to kill us all??
You nailed it right here. The one truth that no one wants to talk about, namely that the number of guns and access to them has not changed, it's our people and our culture that have. Since the 1960s, if not earlier, our culture has been on a morally downward spiral. We now live in a culture with no moral absolutes, no right or wrong. If it feels good, do it, who cares about anyone else? We scream for the "right" to kill our unborn children when they get in the way of our lives, even though it was generally our carelessness that conceived them, then we wonder why people have no respect for human life. We worship people whose only contribution to the world is living a completely depraved life devoid of any common sense or moral restraint and mock those who try to live by high personal standards or, God forbid, read the Bible. We make movies and video games where it is par for the course to mow people down with guns and still don't get the connection between some emotionally or mentally disturbed person watching them and then attempting to live them out. The nuclear family is in a shambles and the result is vast numbers of lonely, disenfranchised individuals who don't feel like they matter to anyone and take it out on innocent people.
I don't know what the conservative solution to mass shootings is, but if we could somehow turn back time and undo the rotting of our culture from the inside out, that would be a start.

So you want some truth? There is no way to stop them.
Everyone always thinks there has to be a solution to every problem, but fact is, some problems don't have solutions.
Short of repealing the Second Amendment and banning guns completely, you're never going to stop these shootings, and even if you could, there's still no way to stop bombings and arsons and numerous other ways to kill people.
There may be ways to mitigate these shootings though. It will take a lot more than passing a law. It will take a cultural sea change. We could get back to being a people that values life. We could stop depicting acts of violence as entertainment. We could stop teaching young people that they need "safe spaces" and "trigger warnings" and instead teach them how to deal with adversity. We could again become a people of morals and decency. I don't have much hope of that happening though.

A good many mass shootings would be stopped simply by forcing ALL Muslims off American soil.

Will kicking filthy murderous Muslims out stop all mass shootings? Of course not but it will stop the 50% of mass shootings caused by the animals representing less than 1% of our population.
Muslims are not even human beings, they have no humanity.

I know the liberal answer is always to legislate everything to death, but you have to accept sometimes that there is not always a law you can make that will get rid of the problem.
As we know, mass shootings happen in countries were guns are altogether banned.
What law are you going to make to keep families together?
What law are you going to make to have parents be involved in their kids' lives?
What law are you going to make to keep kids in school, focused on a future and making something of themselves?
What law are you going to make to stop children and adults from hurting each other's feelings?
What law are you going to make to eliminate feelings of hurt and rejection?
What law are you going to make to force everyone to be a productive citizen?
What law are you going to make to force mentally ill people to take medications and go to counseling?
2/3 of all gun deaths in this country are suicide. What law is going to stop that?
1/3 of gun deaths are murder...but 80% of those murders involve gang activity. So ~3000 gun-related deaths (same number as stabbings and beatings combined) are not suicide or gang-related...that's only 1/3 of the near 10000 deaths caused by drunk drivers. What have you done to really fix that? 11 teenagers a day DIE from texting and driving. Which national law has been enacted to stop that scourge?
The media has done a great job in hyper-fixating you people on this 'problem.'
There are so many other more pressing problems and ways to save lives that will be ignored because you'll be found dead clutching your booze and cell phones.

Don't ever call yourself a defender of freedom or of the Constitution ever again. You have lost the ability to call yourself that with any credibility. You have no respect for the Constitution whatsoever. The Constitution guarantees freedom of religion, which you apparently have no respect for. Do not ever criticize Liberals for having no respect for the 2nd Amendment, because you are no better with your obvious disdain and disregard for the 1st.
You can't stop mass shootings. Norway has them, Belgium has them, Syria has them, Germany, Paris...you can't stop mass shootings. You can try to minimize them by infiltrating terrorist groups, controlling who comes into your country, teaching values and respect of people in everyday life, treatment for mental disorders.
Stop promoting hate, separation, welfare states, dependency on government, agendas not condusive to the Idealogy of Americans..
