How about you share the poster's own world views and agendas based on the person's post? You seem to have derived a lot of information about the poster from their post.
yes, I ask for intelligent discussions....not vulgarity and insults.....

and yes, while the poster has some good points, he lost me in his first sentence.

Muslims are not told from birth to hate nonbelievers and treat them as the enemy. They ARE taught that their individual feelings are secondary to the religion, the Koran and the Hadiths. They are not taught to question their religion and most if not all come from countries without a free press. This makes many uneducated and otherwise angry ones susceptible to brainwashing from extremist elements (like we are bombing women and children or our Saddam embargo was killing babies).

There is no master plan to infiltrate non-Muslim societies and collapse them from within. Muslims are not even cohesive within their religion - there are many sects and most have major disagreements with the others. This is zero central planning. There is only people like everyone else who are just trying to live their lives free from daily threats of death and mayhem.

Marginalizing, discriminating against Muslims or thinking they are not your equal in the West will only serve to confirm what the Radical elements - like IS have been saying - which is the West hates you. Mass programs to kill or bomb radicals only is going to make more terrorists.

The solution lies in the Muslim community itself. There is little to no central religious authority only respected institutions. Major Muslim countries must take the lead in the propaganda war to label the radicals as apostates and THEN to fight them with their own Muslim armies. US trade and embargo policy should promote this. However, this is where the US government is making the same mistake again and again and again (think about it - from backing Bin Laden in Afghanistan to Saddam against Iran (our former friend) to our one time friend Gadaffi or even Mubarak in Egypt or the House of Saud in KSA - we play the patsy again and again and do Dictator Dirty work while getting blood on our hands and putting ourselves squarely in the crosshairs of the radicals. The majority of Muslims living in the US are here (directly) because we were closely involved in their country, i.e. Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, and now Syria - just to cover the last 40 years.

Some enlightened politicians like Rand Paul have long recognized this but changing our long-standing policies is not something any US leader (Rep or Demo) has had the courage to do.
Are you saying, the US went to war sent in our finest, some killed, some maimed just to have a trade off for other humans? Why would our country do this?

Before 9/11 we had no muslim issues within, only aboard, what happened?

Children who are poor, displaced from their families, have limited access to education, or live in a combat zone are more likely to be forcibly recruited.

The thing these kids are being kidnapped and have no choice........maybe Americans should stop and ask was Saddam mean because he knew what he was dealing with? Why did the USA feel they could change the world to our view.

All this has done is divide our nation.......and the terrorist know this and will continue to send us their unwanted. The thing you can lead them to a better life in America, but you are not going to take Mohammed instructions out of them.

Before 9/11 notice muslims were not an issue in this country, how did it get so complicated? How will Americans handle children willing to kill?

I have said it every time the subject comes up. There is no "radical" Islam. There is just Islam. Go to the great Islamic universities of the world and apply to major in Radical Islam. See if they have a program. There aren't any. In fact, they mock the so called "moderate Islam" as the American Islam, for which you might pay a high price for spousing it. A "moderate" Muslim is a Muslim who does not follow the teachings of the Koran in its entirety.

What you are saying is right, but saying Islam is too big a step for many, even though factually correct. Even acknowledging 'Radical Islam' can help towards safeguarding against the death cult.
