The fact that Texas wanting to put secession on the 2018 ballot just because of Brexit is pretty hilarious. After Brexit, support soars for Texas secession movement 'Texit' - Washington Times

I don't live in Texas but would love for them to secede. Their current and previous governors talk about it like it's a threat. Go! Secede! Be on your way! Happy trails!

And you would be wrong. I live and work in Washington state. I am so tired of seeing Texas license plates moving here. I would love it if they had to literally get in line to immigrate waiting dozens of years before they could move here. Keep them in Texas where they belong. Build a wall and make Texas pay for it.

Where in WA state? Those plates are probably from military members.

Wrong again. Fort Lewis are two hours south, Whidbey Island is 90 minutes north plus a ferry, Bremerton is a hour west plus a ferry. Texas is the second highest contributor to the population of Washington after California. That means they have to deliberately make a 1000+ mile drive to move here. Texans can secede and try to immigrate. That should take care of it.

That would have been a great idea 30 years ago - to keep all the California nuts out of Washington. Sadly it's too late, WA has been Californicated and, especially Seattle/King County, becoming just another grossly overpriced, over crowded, over taxed liberal cesspool.

Texas ain't going anywhere. The residents however, are free to leave the country whenever they want. Just leave the state behind, and make sure to leave it nice and clean on their way out. Bye.
