Comey made a smart call. It's easy for those of you biased to question it, but this guy is no idiot and also was a prosecutor. He knows very well that the burden of evidence for conviction is orders of magnitude greater than that required for indictment. He's not going to put forth a case if the sufficient evidence to ensure high likelihood of conviction is there. And while probably cause for indictment was there, he knew full well that evidence for conviction was not sufficiently there. That's all there is to it. Most legal folks don't make careers by rolling the dice on moonshot prosecutions.

No, it is not the "end of it," because Mrs. Clinton is running for President. Her conduct as the Secretary of State is an important gauge of her competency and character.

The question I'm waiting for is what authority did Hillary have to unilaterally delete any emails. Everything she did was part of a federal record and was not to be subject to her personal whims.

Tom Brady got a 4 game suspension for the mere suspicion of wrong doing in deflategate. The FBI said that she lied to them and she skates.
He also said it's possible it could have been missed, when he was asked that question.
He did say if it was someone who worked for him, they would have been fired or have their security clearance taken away. He said as much in his statement on July 5th.
But it's not up to him to speak of what should happen to her - which will be nothing.

Why bother making a referral for perjury? The fix is in and Comey will just find a way to re-write the perjury laws to avoid recommending indictment.
Everyone on earth knows Clinton perjured herself in front of Congress, just like everyone knows she criminally exposed classified information from her bathroom server.
Comey and the Democrats are busy trying to convince me that the system isn't rigged, but this hearing is doing exactly the opposite.
The only thing that is going to address government accountability and institutional transparency at this point is a Trump Presidency.
