Think healthcare needs to be reformed and Medicaid. Think Medicaid should only be given to those on disability and case by case basis of those who are homeless. For homeless have to be associated with a shelter or social service program. The insurance is temporary as long as your on disability and 24 month's for homeless with a 12 month gap before being abe to reapply.
CHIP insurance only available to those on Medicaid.
SNAPS should be reformed that the card can only be used at grocery stores or food banks.
Should do away with the ETIC and income tax. A flat income tax rate based off inflation.
Off tax rebates based off of yearly national revenue and a tiered percentage based off of average hours worked a week. So say it's a 7% stipend make $10,000. It be a 5 tier frm 10 hours to 40+. It caps at $999,999. So say you work 24 hour's receive $280, but if 10 receive $140. Encourages individuals to work more and increase pay to receive a larger end of the year stipend.
No working age adult should get anything but short term help (no more than a few weeks) from the taxpayers. If they want to sire bastard babies, that is their responsibility, not everyone else's.
1. There's nothing wrong with health care in this country.
2. They'd better keep their hands off Medicare.
3. CHIPS is a Medicaid program.
4. You can't limit Medicaid to only those on disability. Those receiving welfare are generally enrolled in Medicaid, and should be. What needs to happen is that qualifying for assistance should be more stringent. And those on disability qualify for Medicare after 2 years, anyway.
5. "Disability" should be narrowly defined. Plenty of people work every day with "back pain," along with the infirmities that came towards the end of their 25, 30, or 35 years of work.
6. I have no idea what you said about the EITC. But the entire program is an annual handout of thousands of dollars (that's each), and it encourages fraud. It should be chucked.
If you bring back the jobs I have no problem with making everyone who can, work-- as for medical we will pay via hospitals bills for indigent care, or bankruptcy courts for the massive medical bills that will never be paid- or disease spreading to our families because we allowed the rest to get and stay ill. Did you see the story of the homeless man, drives a bike 6 miles to get to college- want to kick him in the teeth too? Compare:
Medicare spending grew 5.5% to $618.7 billion in 2014, or 20 percent of total NHE.
Medicaid spending grew 11.0% to $495.8 billion in 2014, or 16 percent of total NHE.
Private health insurance spending grew 4.4% to $991.0 billion in 2014, or 33 percent of total NHE.
Out of pocket spending grew 1.3% to $329.8 billion in 2014, or 11 percent of total NHE.
Hospital expenditures grew 4.1% to $971.8 billion in 2014, faster than the 3.5% growth in 2013.
Physician and clinical services expenditures grew 4.6% to $603.7 billion in 2014, a faster growth than the 2.5% in 2013.
Prescription drug spending increased 12.2% to $297.7 billion in 2014, faster than the 2.4% growth in 2013. https://www.cms.gov/research-statist...act-sheet.html

1. There's nothing wrong with health care in this country.
Healthcare is the biggest disaster in the US and with the ACA has become worse. I work in the healthcare field insurances have a larger role in who can receive care and who can't. Insurances are covering less. The insurance can but from the State that is supposed to be affordable is not and many opt not to buy into, take the penalty fees. People should not be mandated to have health insurance.
2. They'd better keep their hands off Medicare.
Meant Medicaid. Medicaid is a bloated whale. It takes money away from hospitals via patients, penalizes hospitals for readmitting patients before 30 days, and deeming on the State funds from Medicaid/Medicare can be denied not allocated to hospitals. Hospitals in our State over 5/6 years have been denied $600 Million in Medicaid/Medicare funds possibly rising cost of care by $17.
4. You can't limit Medicaid to only those on disability. Those receiving welfare are generally enrolled in Medicaid, and should be. What needs to happen is that qualifying for assistance should be more stringent. And those on disability qualify for Medicare after 2 years, anyway.
Medicaid should only be granted to homeless or individuals with disability. There should be a State run health insurance market where the State sets the max price if insurances. Additionally, State runs a inexpensive insurance where those on Welfare can receive a discount. Anyone can buy into the State insurance, but the State sets a mac income where will be taxed at the end of the year on how many months on the State insurance. Thus them buying into will encourage these individuals to work. Additionally, should only be on welfare for a max 36 months then transition to SSI if approved by a Doctor and the whole process.
6. I have no idea what you said about the EITC. But the entire program is an annual handout of thousands of dollars (that's each), and it encourages fraud. It should be chucked.[/quote] Think goverment should do away with the income tax. Similiar to yearly bonus by companies gives out bonus to citizens who are working. Bonus increases based on more hours you work on average in a week, encouraging individuals to work.
Those in prison should not be eligible for Medicaid and universal healthcare should be for every US citizen over 65.
No reform, elimination. All state welfare schemes are based on theft and redistribution.
Exactly. The federal government does not have the Constitutional power to spend any money on welfare. If it is implemented then it should be done at the state level IF the state constitution provides the power for it.
Anybody on welfare should be
1. Barred from voting,
2. Prohibited from having children or any children should be immediately put up for adoption until they can prove they can support their children without government aids, and
3. Their parents' money should be used before any taxpayer's money.
