Looks like CNN is even criticizing Obama's lack of interest in the flooding disaster.

Hillary will be up next; probably later this week to try and save face.

Well, after being completely embarrassed by Trump taking the time to help the flood victims, Obama decides that he should stop play gold long enough to act like the president.

Maybe if Hillary can get enough rest between her press conferences (265 days and counting), she'll make a token visit like Obama.

Shhhh. Don't tell him he's in Louisiana. He thought it was just another water hazard on the course.

I posted this on another thread, but it will work as well here:

We are all pleased as punch that Donald John Trump flew into Louisiana, donated a truck-full of supplies (although no one knows if he paid for the contents, or his campaign paid for the contents, or Mr. Pence hijacked the truck and drove it down to meet Trump), visited for some 30 minutes and asked questions, and then flew off north to speak at a rally. Really, the people of Louisiana could not be more pleased. "Losing everything I own, well, it was worth it to see Mr. Trump and be able to buy one of his hats saying "Make Louisiana Dry Again", was frequently heard.

Obama? Lazy. The rains began on August 11th. On August 14th President Obama finally got around to
declaring that a major disaster existed in the State of Louisiana and ordered Federal aid to supplement state and local recovery efforts. Here is a nice list of the help FEMA is proffering:

Oddly enough, I have a memory. It goes all the way back to March 2016, when Obama again had declared portions of Louisiana a disaster area due to flooding, with Federal government assistance:

https://www.fema.gov/news-release/20...tate-louisiana

Major Disaster Declared for the State of Louisiana | Office of the Governor of Louisiana

I wonder why Donald John Trump, aka "Mother Teresa Trump", did not visit the good people of Louisiana at that time? Could it be because the Louisiana Primary was on March 5th, and the flooding was a week afterwards? Hmmmmmmmmmm?

Amid criticism from who? Dumb right-wingers? Big deal.

The Governor of Louisiana already explained that he asked Obama, Clinton, and Trump not to visit, as their presence would cause a drain on resources.

Being the opportunistic scumbag that he is, Trump ignored the advice and showed up anyway. Donning his trademark "Make America Great" cap, he signed autographs, attacked Clinton and Obama, and handed out play-oh for 45 seconds. He used the entire region as a political prop, and now it appears right-wingers are doing the same.

Darn. You guys were really working on a scandal, but then reality.

I bet Obama doesn't make a donation to a hate group like Trump. Anyway you could spin that to favor dear leader? Keep trying. You will get there.

Yeah, it would've made much more sense to go when the crisis was in its critical early stages, not like the police, first responders, hospitals, etc., all the resources that are put on alert when any POTUS visits anywhere had anything more pressing to worry about, right?

Thank goodness that orange troll arrived in time to hand out some Ply-Doh!
