New Orleans has weak gun laws and will likely end the year with a significantly higher murder rate than Chicago for like the umpteenth straight year. It's located in Louisiana, which has seen the highest murder rate among states over the last 26 straight years.
The so called "gun laws" would do nothing to crime rate in one way or another because they only affect law abiding citizens.
If we have true gun laws that focus on the criminals, it would make a difference. The reason we don't have any true gun laws is because the Democrats don't want their criminals, I mean, voter base, inconvenienced.
Funny I have owned guns for the last 25 years. I have never felt the need to shoot anyone. One excuse after another for these people that cant control themselves!!
You too? Been a gun collector since the mid-Seventies and have yet to shoot anyone. Am I doing something wrong?

Fortunately for us on the north shore, those neighborhoods are at the other end of two very long bridges. New Orleans, like any typical crime-ridden city is run by------well, Democrats. It will never change as long as they are in control.
If you are going to say that, then I have something to add. What do you suggest that should be done about this, within Constitutional means?
To be honest, nothing for the time being. It doesn't directly affect me.
Maybe red-lining the bad areas then digging a moat around them and sending in pallets of 9mm.
I know, that's heartless and disgusting. But you don't want a solution. You prefer excuses.

All of that is unconstitutional.
And when did I once say I wanted excuses? Prove it.
