this was 2008 so clinton and trump were definitely friendly at this time but it would be a few more years ( feb/march 2011 ) before trump entered the birther spotlight.

I am guessing it is safe to say that Blumenthal's efforts were fruitless since Obama was born in Hawaii.

As the OP link says, Blumenthal kept pushing the narrative even when he couldn't find evidence as he was Ready for Hillary in 2008.

However as we debated years this topic. there was just enough circumstantial information implicating Barry in Kenya. since Obama has the Docs he is ok until we can get rid of him. in January

Never understood why people defended his butt, but they did and somewhere in the back of our minds questions Obama's birth place.

Obama pulled it off!

Seems odd that they had this rumor (supposedly from Blumenthal), investigated it, but conveniently forgot to publish anything about it not being true or the source of the rumor until 2016.

It was Trump who got President Obama to present that certificate......image what he can get done when he is really in charge, unlike President Obama. I wonder how President Obama got into office without showing his certificate in the first place!

And Hillary's campaign that brought it up in 2008. You can regurgitate all the official "Media Matters" and other George Soros funded "twistoids" all you want, that birther issue is still nothing but another attempt by the "Never Trump" bunch to discredit him.
