Yes. Horses from the Spanish, firearms and many steel implements. All "appropriated" , as it were. White man's stuff was considered a status symbol. Especially if it was taken in battle. Yet, they never learned to make these things themselves. A few of the Eastern tribes did, but not the Western, till much later.

Like you, I've got NO problem with the AI's "appropriating" that kind of stuff; just too bad so many of the Rez Indians in 2016 didn't copy and paste middle class culture in, but, it seems to be Ok for a lot of their kind to act just like meth head PWT. Sad.
