So, lets see if I have this right.

The Bundy's burned no neighborhoods

Destroyed no one else's property

Did not shut down a single interstate highway

Did not loot a single store or business

Destroyed zero police cars

Murdered no police officers

And some morons try to compare them to BLM savages? Really? Are there actually people that stupid?

Maybe if BLM tried protesting peacefully in a field in the middle of nowhere they wouldn't be seen as a bunch of violent morons either.

Actually the occupation caused lots of damage. The issue I suspect is PROVING that the people in the courthouse were the folks who did it. Once that fell apart, it was really all the conspiracy charges. at a guess the proof wasnt there either.

Freakin' redneck jury. We'll have dozens of copycat attempts now, and people will likely die over it. To say nothing of the SovCit nonsense that every courtroom will be clogged up with. Great work, that.

Incidentally, there's no "and sons" - Bundy pere is still held in Nevada, and the two Bundy fils will join him there.

Cliven Bundy and the BLM Showdown - a Case of Double Standards, Hypocrisy, and Bad Media Coverage

Quote:
Cliven Bundy is the Nevada cattle rancher who since 1991 has been illegally grazing his cattle on federal protected lands. Despite fines totaling some one million dollars, and not paying these fines, Mr. Bundy has defied federal orders since 1993. When the BLM arrived at the location where his cattle were grazing, armed militiamen who supported Mr. Bundy confronted them. Some of these armed men took up sniper positions along the adjacent highway with their rifles aimed at BLM agents. Their armed presence and the risk of creating a volatile situation forced the BLM and the local sheriff to stand down.
Again, the revisionist history is in full effect by some.

Notice that some continue to ignore the truth and gloss over thugs like the Bundy's, portraying them as gentle, peace loving folk who never broke any laws or did anything to deserve the law coming down on them, just to suit their own twisted agendas.

Yup, because aiming sniper rifles at the law and basically taunting and daring them to do something after breaking the law for years, yes sir, that sure is so peaceful.

White people like ranchers who break the law and taunt law enforcement and dare them to do something about it = heroes standing up to the oppressive liberal government.

Black people who taunt the police and dare them to do something about it, without having necessarily broken any law (peaceful by the standards of the hypocrites) = thugs who should be beaten and taken to jail and taught a lesson.

Hypocrisy as always and forever.

Some people truly have no shame.

They were only let off of these charges, due to lack of evidence, that they came armed to take over refuge. At the refuge there were no weapons drawn on any police officers. They still have other charges to face in Nevada. The jury are the ones that came to the conclusion. For some reason the damage at the refuge was not brought up.......leading me to believe something else was going on.

15 government informants were also at the refuge at that time, did they screw up, did they cause the damage reported?

The same people in here cheering on this verdict better not complain that Hillary was acquitted/found not guilty with the emails. That's the justice system right?

Now maybe federal prosecutors can move on to bigger cases. Like the protesters trespassing on private lands and holding up workers in ND. Or the BLM ones blocking interstate highways, burning cities and looting stores. Instead of worrying about a protest on a field in the middle of nowhere.

Well hopefully those Bundy guys learned a lesson from all this. It's fine if you want to go camping and have a male bonding experience. But you can't be breaking into government facilities and taking their vehicles on joy rides. That would go against the very law & order that Trump says we need more of.
