Trump administration missed the Oct. 1st deadline when they were supposed to issue guidance on which Russian entities in the military and intelligence sectors should be subject to sanctions.

On Jan. 29th, the "Treasury Department is required to begin imposing sanctions against entities doing business with Russia’s defense and intelligence sectors as well as to produce a hotly anticipated list of oligarchs maintaining close ties to Putin."

Will he snub Putin or snub Congress?

Hmmm?

"Citing President Trump's and Congress' new tax law, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles said Thursday that it's going to move some of its production back from Mexico.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will invest more than $1 billion to modernize the company's Warren Truck Plant in metro Detroit, adding 2,500 jobs and moving production of its Ram Heavy Duty trucks from Mexico."

"auto industry manufacturing employment in the U.S. dropped from 788,900 in December 2016 to 783,200 in November 2017 — a decline of 5,700."

https://www.metrotimes.com/news-hits...s-trump-a-bone

While Chrysler's 2,500 jobs is nothing to sneeze at, when all is said and done this still means a net loss of 2,200 auto manufacturing jobs.

"Modernize" is code for "automation" which we all know will eliminate more jobs.

For those interested in listening to a discussion that does not involve lies and insults, you may want check out Preet Bharara's (former U.S. Attorney who fought corruption, financial fraud and violent crime so, of course, was fired by Trump), podcast interview series about justice and fairness.

Level-headed, smart people talk about complicated issues of the day.

Mulling Mueller, the Jan. 11th podcast with Anne Milgram, the former Attorney General of New Jersey, is is well worth listening to.

One of the topics addressed was how prosecuting obstruction of justice helps to maintain the integrity of the judicial system.
