Trump's attorney before that sent out a typo-ridden press release and is now facing several ethics complaints over telling Trump's staff they didn't need to get separate legal counsel. (Trump's staff, not being total fools, promptly went out and hired their own legal representation. Pence is holding fundraisers to pay for his.)
I understand Trump has hired another attorney for his crack legal team. The one has experience in litigating financial crimes. Read where his big case was a hedge fund manager who is now doing time.
