Probably because the media outlets they favor because they are slanted toward their viewpoint are parroting it.

Thorough investigations along the lines of who knew what when and who was complicit take a little while.

There absolutely will be an investigation into the hacking, and collusion and coordination between Putin, Assange and the Trump campaign or campaign affiliates.

Trump is doing himself no favors by ridiculing and disbelieving intelligence agencies and instead taking the word of a lying murderous thug dictator instead. If Trump was a patriot and/or an honest and dignified PE, he would encourage a full investigation and that the truth be discovered, if only so that his presidency will not be delegitimized.

He appears to be afraid of a thorough investigation.

Yes, if he knows nothing about the matter why isn't he demanding an investigation? Most innocent people in his situation would be doing so...Russian interference in our elections would be about as serious as it gets. Instead, he is pulling all of the stops to prevent an investigation. That is usually the approach if one who knows the truth and does not want it to come out.

(NBC Exclusive) "U.S. intelligence officials now believe with "a high level of confidence" that Russian President Vladimir Putin became personally involved in the covert Russian campaign to interfere in the U.S. presidential election, senior U.S. intelligence officials told NBC News.

Two senior officials with direct access to the information say new intelligence shows that Putin personally directed how hacked material from Democrats was leaked and otherwise used. The intelligence came from diplomatic sources and spies working for U.S. allies, the officials said.

Putin's objectives were multifaceted, a high-level intelligence source told NBC News. What began as a "vendetta" against Hillary Clinton morphed into an effort to show corruption in American politics and to "split off key American allies by creating the image that [other countries] couldn't depend on the U.S. to be a credible global leader anymore," the official said."
So CNN and everyone else in america had a vendetta against Trump, so maybe we can call it even, eh?

But the hacking and the e-mails are small potatoes compared to the real crime that may occur, and that's the Tillerson nomination. The $60 Billion contract in suspension waiting for the US sanctions to be lifted stands to personally benefit Exxon and Putin. If Trump lifts the sanctions he will have enabled corruption on a grand scale. The fix was in.
Well, don't you think that if the emails were not genuine that there would at least be some denial of their veracity from Podesta or the DNC?

Would you believe them if they did?

Nonsense! Trump does fantastic job of discrediting himself strictly through his own associations. He needs no help from me or other democrats.
