Trump is a businessman first. You can't make money if you destroy the country. Russia already stated that they thought war was inevitable with Hillary. Of course it could have been a bluff; we don't know?

As far as putting down the Russians; it is the one country that has more nuclear missiles than the US. It also has almost three times the land mass. It is simply suicidal to think that war is an alternative over negotiation. Remember that our Democrats want to save the whales, the trees, our fresh water streams - but if the Russians insist on telling Americans the 'truth' about the DNC; all bets are off (reach for the launch codes)!

Russia has been our ally in two world wars. Why do you insist they are now our enemy? Even if they did hack us; it isn't like we never hacked them. Heck, even our best friends like Israel have spied on us and it would not surprise me if we did not do the same.

The 2020 Presidential election will be competitive -- most of our Presidential elections since '92 have been (with the exception of '96 and '08). For the other Presidential elections during this time, the losing candidate could have won. Some would even say the '08 election was competitive until the time Lehman Brothers collapse and stuff hit the fan with respect to the credit/financial crisis (polling data would tend to support this claim).

There is no reason at this time that the 2020 Presidential election will be a landslide in favor of either party.

The relationship between Russia and the US, is too complex a subject to reduce it to a few sentences here, but if you think it's cool for Trump to be BFF with Putin, you are certainly entitled to that opinion.

It just needs to evolve

They need to stop with the darn social issues already. Get back to representing the poor and middle class again. Stop attempting to start race division with everyone. Little things

Their new name should be the National Socialist Democratic Party! If they continue the course of ateand bigotry there will be day of reckoning.

All Trump needs is to have moderate success keep half his promises and bring a decent amount of jobs back to the midwest in his first term. If he can accomplish some of that he wins reelection easily and th economy will boom and democratic party as we know it will go bust. Things can only go up from here. The only thing that concerns me is that he will had another 4to 7 trillion to the debt before it can start to come down. That's scary.

I have a feeling a lot of people who paid little attention to politics before this election are waking up now. Trump's election could be one of the best things to happen for Democrats/Liberals/Independents/Sane People who perhaps got a little too complacent over the last eight years.
That could very well be. Democrats, etc. got bored and complacent. They were taking things like health care for granted. Also, the young snowflakes who didn't get Bernie, didn't vote because they were so mad.

If Trump doesn't hurt ordinary working people, retirees on fixed incomes, and young 'uns who need to get a start in life he may do okay. But start taking away things like HEALTH CARE or SOCIAL SECURITY and people will really start yelling. For the young, start talking about taking away a woman's right to choose and they'll start yelling. It hasn't even started yet. But if Trump hurts too many people, they will rebel and they will band together and get him. It would be a new kind of Democrat but they would be so angry (as many are now but there would be even more) that they will trample him into dust. Orange dust.

We will see them again on January 21.

They will vote in 2018. And again in 2020.
And? The Democrats already do quite well in Illinois, Oregon, and New York. But they need to broaden their appeal to other parts of the country. Instead we've seen them seriously narrow it. And that's their problem.

Honestly, I have no faith in all the billionaires in his cabinet. Unless they have been advocates of the middle class all along then they have no clue. I think some billionaires are just so bored with all their money they just want to experience something new. Oh boy, a cabinet position!

Obama was supposed to have been an advocate of the middle class but in the end, had no clue. So we will continue down the same failed path of the last few decades.
