The University of Wisconsin-Madison will offer a spring semester class examining “the problem of whiteness” and “what it means to be #woke,” Campus Reform reports.
The course is being offered by the university’s African Cultural Studies department. According to an online description, students will be asked to examine “what it really means to be white,” and consider “how race is experienced by white people” in the United States and abroad.
“Critical Whiteness Studies aims to understand how whiteness is socially constructed and experienced in order to help dismantle white supremacy,” the description reads. “In this class, we will ask what an ethical white identity entails, what it means to be #woke, and consider the journal Race Traitor’s motto, ‘treason to whiteness is loyalty to humanity.'”
This is why liberal Democrats will continue to lose election after election. The people have grown beyond tired of their race-pimping and just want to make race irrelevant - ya know, like MLK wanted.
Yeah it was my whiteness that made me go out earn a living for my family and then support the rest of the welfare neighborhood ... It feels like a reversal of that master slave thing...a unwilling indentured servant.
It isn't a required course, it is for a very specific major, and there are certainly other niche classes out there.
Do you really think white people don't have a perspective influenced by being the majority? I do. As a white woman, who was a minority in one of the countries she lived in, I totally think my perspective is influenced by such. And whats worse is I never realized it until I lived in a country where whites are not the majority. And to be honest, only white people have the luxury of saying "race is irrelevant". Well yes, to the majority race is always irrelevant.

You mean your white neighbors? Most of the people on welfare are white.
oh brother it affects both white and black thus the permanent housing developments are you on crack?
When you don't use punctuation, run on sentences become hard to understand.
Are you claiming the welfare effects both white and black people? Yes, it does, I never said otherwise.
Permanent housing developments? Aren't all housing developments permanent assuming no disaster? Are you maybe talking about affordable housing projects? Why wouldn't they be permanent? There will always be a need for affordable housing.
