It is significant and telling, as well as disturbing, to me that the OP described the neighborhood as "white." The neighborhood is affluent. The very last thing that should be done is associate only "white" with affluence.
President Obama can live anywhere he wants and can afford.
So why is there a thread by a conservative who thinks its significant that a young family with three Ivy league degrees and two law degrees between them moved into a white neighborhood in a 6M home? Because they'er tall?
You'd have to ask the OP.
I'm not the OP.
I believe the OP was already questioned about this.
It's a free country. You're free to doubt the OP and think he/she is lying. Your prerogative.
Neither your post above, nor any perceived or actual motivation of the OP, changes the truthfulness of my statement about the conservatives I know.
Your post above also conveniently ignores my bringing up Harry Reid and Joe Biden's statements, neither of which I have ever heard a reply regarding that mitigates the racism emanating from either statement.
Kalorama is a wealthy, mostly white neighborhood in DC but it is in the heart of the city and close to several diverse neighborhoods such as funky, hard partying Adams-Morgan. Barack will be able to walk to the bars on 18th St. If I were a rich man I would get a place in Kalorama.
Ah I see, we're at this again...shaming people for having money or wanting a private education. I thought that was a liberal thing though, pretty disappointed to see Republicans taking part in this.
Obama stashed away millions while he was president. His green energy plant went belly up and I bet he took most of that money and pocketed it. Obama has to spend it somewhere.
Obama could barely afford his home before he became president. Now he spends money like he is a millionaire which he is many times over. DRAIN THE SWAMP!
