Geesh!! Of course not all benefited..But surely those affluent enough who profited from the recovering SHOULDN"T complain.. That being the fact..Trump got elected BECAUSE the system seemed to only reward the a portion of American's.. After 6 years of GOP ability to block all laws that benefited the regular folks..Some how Trump persuaded enough that He would tame the Political Rhetoric that stalemated governance. With GOP who caused it..
It is now up to GOP and Trump to PROVE that they can govern in a way that assists ALL Americans....Time will tell..BUT have to say..exposure of appointments isn't boding well for regular folks! It's pretty obvious that between his appointments and his family involvement It's going to somewhat questionable about a lot of policy coming down the road
During the so called prosperity of the 50's ( ignoring the 3 recessions) 20% of the US population lived in dire poverty. Many probably did not realize the Great Depression ended in the 40's because their lives did not improve.
Maybe Obama is staying in Washington because he doesn't have a real home or any real friends....only a few Washington sycophants? Perhaps his tremendous ego demands that he try to remain relevant. He won't remain relevant, however. He's already irrelevant. Who will consult a man who lost the Democrats the whole ball of wax?
Why Obama is choosing to watch everything he worked for the last 8 years dismantled in front of his eyes and from a few blocks away in his new mansion is pathetic and sad.
Edited to add: I don't believe Obama is staying in Washington for his high school daughter's sake. What a load of tripe. His blind worshippers believe anything this self-centered charlatan says.
