The people who voted for Trump did not give us Trump. The politicians that have failed us gave us Trump.

I pointed out these failures for years and was mostly alone. (A few here were also doing so)

I have some friends that supported Obama but now also understand that Obama and the DNC gave us Trump. Trump will only get stronger if the (D)'s think they can win by demeaning people. They can not.
Who did I demean? Saying I don't understand a person's motives isn't demeaning. I truly don't understand Trump supporters.

True. When I say tax codes, I specifically mean those which allow the rich and ultrarich to funnel money to other places in order to avoid paying taxes on that money.

On this we can agree. I'm happy that we do.

COME ON.

Are you honestly so intellectually disinclined to not look at the other side of the coin???

Shall I list all the names liberals have been called by conservatives?? The division belongs to BOTH sides.

I was not speaking about you personally. I voted for Sanders and then Stein. I completely understand why people voted for Trump.

It was a big middle finger to the establishment. Will Trump fail at change just the same as Obama did? Most likely. What was the alternative?

They were only able to do that with the approval of Democrats like Bill Clinton and Andrew Cuomo -- who, as HUD Secretary, ordered Fannie and Freddy to buy $2.4 trillion in sub-prime loans over a ten year period starting in 1999.

The middle class will be paying for that when the national debt comes due.

The election came down to two people that were not going to change this. To say you do not understand one side has to be countered by also not understanding the other, especially when the other falsly claims to be against this.

One alternative for liberals should have been to band together and rally against the DNC, demanding Sanders' nomination. All of us knew HRC was not a popular candidate and with the threat of Trump looming, we all should have been on our toes and we weren't.

As far as the middle finger, once its down, what's the point? Okay Trump supporters flipped off the country...but at what expense? This is the biggest problem I have with this entire election. So many Americans were so short sighted, they couldn't see past November 8. I wonder if the FU will have been worth it for his voters by the end of 2017.

No, they were only able to do that by the very bi-partisan support of these programs.
