This is an exaggeration. Only about 5% of the German population is Muslim, with only about half of that group being actual German citizens (meaning if the German government wanted to, tomorrow, they could start deporting non-citizens and half the Muslim population reduced to ~2.5% by the beginning of 2018). While these numbers vary from nation to nation, this general trend is true of most places. According to Pew Research, by 2030, only about 8% of Europe's population will be Muslim. Perhaps that's slightly low, but by how much, hard to say. With the rise of right wing populism, it's likely that immigration will be cut back. But this rise indicates one thing: these countries were not at any real risk of becoming Muslim nations. Most ethnic Europeans do not want that.
Though, it's also worth noting, Christianity is in decline regardless among many Western nations. Europe's been seeing a decline for a while and in the US, that's not much different. It doesn't help that (in the US), the most conservative religious groups have an aggressive anti-intellectual stance on the world, while the more liberal churches tend to be so ideologically vague that there's little motivation to stick around. But in a world of dichotomies, it's easier to see the world as Christian vs Muslim. It gives you an enemy to point.
Yes we cant ignore how Europeans are being treated after the invasion. Women especially are being targetted & assaulted everyday. Hollywood flakes are just publicists for whoever pays them to say something. So are media, but they cant brainwash a hungry, battered person to vote for social issues rather than personal issues. Liberals brought third world country problems here like unemployment, high taxes, violence so we voted for our own issues rather than global issues like climate change or inviting more immigrants on our dime. We cant look past our own suffering so dont ask us to vote like a Hollywood millionaire. They are welcome to look down upon me for picking Trump & supporting law & order. I will think about saving rest of world after I have saved myself & my family.
