What a freaking JOKE the enforcement of our immigration laws have been .

Of course this is an LA times article so it's trying to make it seem like the economy will crash if illegals leave .
If the region can only survive with illegals thats pretty pathetic really .

----
If the unauthorized population were to leave areas where they contribute to the local economy, cities could find themselves in trouble.

“They would face not just a loss of population or loss of labor … but also loss of buying power,” said Louis DeSipio, a professor of political science at UC Irvine who specializes in immigration from Latin America.

Immigrants who are here illegally often contribute to the economy even in neighborhoods where they don’t live, as service workers in restaurants or in the homes of the more well-heeled.

L.A., Orange counties are home to 1 million immigrants who are in the country illegally, analysis shows - LA Times

Sanctuary cities represent the majority of economic activity, don't bite the hand the feeds. Trump country is puny economically.

NYC metro - $1.7 trilllion
LA metro - $1.04 trillion
SF-SJ - $711 billion
Chicago - $618 billion
Boston - $531 billion
Houston - $525
DFW- $508

Remind me when Trump country can produce those numbers.... That's just the top 6 metros.

You realize the Governor of Texas said he won't tolerate sanctuary cities in Texas right ?

Texas Gov. Abbott on Levin:

So the reason for these amazing economies is because they are sanctuary cities and all the illegals boost the economy ?

Yep. And lets see what happens. Texas relies on the cities for funding... where do you think that sales and property taxes come from..... Trump country? Puh-lease.

They are part of the economy and tax base. Leave us alone, you're issues are because you can't compete. Work on your job skills so you can compete instead of tanking the economy because you need those cities more than we need you.

They're certainly not hurting them. Liberal strongholds ARE America's economy.

Now kindly point us in the direction of the predominantly right-wing economic powerhouse that exists within our borders. Bullit County KY makes good bourbon, but I don't think they qualify.

They don't realize how weak and puny they are economically....

They got a boast because the electoral system favors them, but they'll learn real quickly things change. 2018 is right around the corner.
