Just out today: A majority of young adults — 57 percent — see Trump's presidency as illegitimate. (AP)

Trump has the lowest approval ratings of any president from all voters since ratings have been kept & he is only 2 months into his term - his supposed "honeymoon" period.

Besides the obvious 100% opposition from the Democrats, the most powerful Republicans in the Senate (McCain, McConnell, Graham) are already on record opposing him on major issues & yesterday a tape was released of the House Majority Leader (Ryan) saying he wouldn't come to Trump's defense (before the election but they haven't seen eye to eye much since)

I remember Watergate & this seems worse than that for this early of a point in his presidency: he hasn't made many alliances with his party - who will ultimately decide his fate - & there is a steady drip, drip of disclosures about Russian entanglements that have been covered up with "forgetfulness" & "untruths", again we are only 2 months into his term, Nixon was more than 4 years (more in toto)in with plenty of loyalists, favors owed & connections.

He hasn't even passed any significant legislation yet, you can argue about the reasons but all new presidents, especially with a congressional majority, get several things passed early on.

I don't think he will last a term, I don't see him as a quitter but he might if he is advised by loyal Republicans that he could be tried & found guilty of something (Russia, finances, lying about something & servicemen die over it... who knows) & be the first president in that infamous position... Pence could succeed & pardon him in a deal & that would clear the path for Ryan to run for President, he may be the strongest nationally known politician of either party right now & the GOP would think they have a shot for another 8 years with a youthful looking smart guy who is a team player instead & not give the Democrats time to get themselves organized behind a strong candidate - they really have no one prominent now.

2 years? After they get Obamacare repealed, new Supreme Court judge installed & Defense Dept increases (this year?), then the GOP power structure starts leaking the really bad stuff about The Donald?

I don't see this disruptive force lasting in office for 4 years with a potential No Korean engagement likely.

Even when he is in office he just watches cable tv all day. Maybe he really is like his voters.

57% of clueless progressives maybe. These types of reports/news (and I use the term loosely) only serve to makes things worse - not better.

We just had an election to solve the differences of opinions in our country. Trump won. You can't have an election 4 months later, you have to wait 4 years, and Trump will win again..

Nobody misses the Obama administration with the mass shootings all the time in our schools and airports. Muslims killing gays in bars or slaughtering Americans at Christmas parties.

With Obama you had people being bombed at marathons, black men killing cops, and open borders.

With Trump border crossings are down 40 percent already, cops aren't being killed every week, Americans aren't being slaughtered. Now migrants flee, illegals self deport, and people respect the law, and police officers.

Trump is cutting taxes, government spending, and the national debt while bringing in high paying jobs (not the cheap service industry obama jobs).

Since the election, the country has been nice, peaceful, and quiet. No race wars in Baltimore and Missouri...

Trump is doing such a good job that CNN has been reduced to analyzing a tweet that was proven by their own reports. I can tell you these are good times when CNN with their hateful, anti-American ideology has been reduced to talking abut nothing but what tweet may not have meant.

With Obama, CNN had to talk about constant terror attacks with muslims killing gays, and mass shootings every 2 weeks. Nobody wants that again.

Democrats lost because they have no ideas. They ran on Trump being crazy... Trump made promises to change things, and he us fulfilling his promises...

In the meantime Democrats are doubling down on having no ideas of what to do. .. they just call Trump crazy, and act like the world is going to end.. meanwhile it's totally peaceful. I haven't even heard the word ISIS in months.

So since the democrats have no ideas Trump will be president for 8 years, then Steve Bannon will take over for him.

The opinions of young people do not override facts. And the fact is, Trump was democratically elected to lead the nation, and that is exactly what he is doing. There is nothing illegitimate about it. You libs may not like the man, but that is irrelevant. He is your president. If you do not like America, or the people elected to lead, feel free to leave the country and find a new home. Thanks in advance.

Putin's Puppets -- playing right into his hands, with the help of the media and the Democratic leadership.

For all this talk about how Trump is supposedly a Putin proxy, it's the opposition who've done all they can to implement Putin's to diminish Americans' faith in our institutions.
