Sigh. As I said in another post-the statistics often qouted are incorrect. Obama did not necessarily deport more as the method of counting was changed.
HOWEVER. During the Obama administration total illegals went down. The two stats are not necessarily the same thing, as many may have self deported. After all a couple years ago Mexico got universal healthcare-something we here in the US still have not managed.
Now for the original topic.
Some folks do, some don't. I care that trump follows all the applicable laws. The Muslim ban did not, however deporting illegals (especially those who have committed additional crimes) DOES. As such I dont have a lot of grief about it as long as the laws are followed. So far it appears they are.
Hopefully some common sense will be used, and additional qualified judges will be hired in order to minimize the costs of holding folks. Otherwise I might complain about it being done in a stupid fashion.
Obama deported more people than any other president. You know, those pesky little things called facts.
We live in a post-truth era where the answer to "2+2" is whatever you want it to be....and many of us died in the past during some horrendous crime wave.
Doing so was supposed to in part appease republicans and conservatives in hopes they would get on board with immigration reform; it didn't work out that way. Never the less numbers still stand.
I point this out constantly as well. However....Obama did keep deporting people, and overall illegal population declined during his presidency. That may be folks self deporting though, or it may be the deportations he did do.
Obama administration deported more illegals from the USA than any other POTUS in history.
This has been debunked as MSM nonsense. They are counting a lot more than ICE.
