Media is not perfect but in general, it reports facts and the facts about Trump make him look bad because he is bad.
And actually, I don't think the media cares how Trump supporters who believe fake news feel about them. Those who get their news from Alex Jones, Breitbart and Gateway Pundit, devotedly watch Fox, never read the New York Times or watch CNN anyhow.
Only in progressive fairy land is it normal and reasonable to call some random person a hateful name while at the same time claiming oneself the victim of hate.
Look how the media, dnc, etc. treat President Trump for associations with folks like Bannon, Sessions, Tillerson, etc.
Now look back at the Media's coverage of Obama's affiliation of Reverend God-bleep-America Wright, Ayers, Alinski via Acorn, Frank Marshall Davis, Bernadine Dohrne, etc.
They are criminals and we don't like criminals who commit crimes race-baiting and hatred of good Americans.
These media outlets showed support for Hillary at a John Podesta dinner in 2015...

Several of those people died before Obama even entered politics. NONE of them were in his administration. This is a huge analogical fail.
I've never seen anyone worshipped in politics in my lifetime like Hillary supporters worship losers like Hillary!
Acknowledge your side's own faults first - especially if you do not like the idea of losing.

I wish that everyone would finally realize that the reason Trump denigrates and lies about the press is so that the citizens of our country won't believe the news when it is proven that Trump did conspire with Russia so he could win the election. And who knows what else will be investigated and reported that he has done that he doesn't want the American people to believe, so that he can get away with it.
Trump is SO CUNNING. He is setting it up so that no matter what the legitimate press reports, people won't believe them.
Those who go along with Trump's view of the press will be duped bigly.
