Berkeley has relationships with several countries around the world. Even countries that are on our nation's radar for less than ideal reasons. Both Israel and Saudi Arabia for example.

U.C. Berkeley launches Saudi-funded Philanthropy University

Updated Sep 2, 2015, 12:01pm PDT

University of California, Berkeley, and its Haas School of Business are launching an online "Philanthropy University" to help folks in the nonprofit realm with finance, fundraising, strategy, leadership and other challenges.

A leading Saudi business executive and other unnamed funders are making "a multi-million dollar investment" in the project over the next five years, according to UC Berkeley officials...

You don't know what a BIGOT is? Or you don't understand how a university relies on students and public support for funding?

Or does the truth (in general) confuse you?

You're Welcome:

The Earth's climate has been changing for millions of years, in a naturally recurring cycle. This is nothing new. The cycles of the last several hundreds of thousands of years, from UC Berkeley's Lawrence National Laboratory:
https://web.archive.org/web/20101105...rature-CO2.jpg

Note the cyclical climate change pattern and the warmer temperatures over 300,000 years ago.

About the Lawrence National Lab...

Thirteen Nobel prizes are associated with Berkeley Lab. Seventy Lab scientists are members of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS), one of the highest honors for a scientist in the United States. Thirteen of our scientists have won the National Medal of Science, our nation’s highest award for lifetime achievement in fields of scientific research. Eighteen of our engineers have been elected to the National Academy of Engineering, and three of our scientists have been elected into the Institute of Medicine. In addition, Berkeley Lab has trained thousands of university science and engineering students who are advancing technological innovations across the nation and around the world.
Are you being purposefully obtuse and/or dense? Or do you really not understand what data you're looking at?

The existence of cyclical warning and cooling events in the Earth's past does not disprove human-caused global warming now. If anything that data helps prove it because the previous rates of warming and cooling in the past were MUCH slower than what we're seeing now (hence more evidence that humans, the missing variable, are the cause of the current warming trend).

Look at all of this global warming denial happening at UC Berkeley...

The conversion of a climate-change skeptic • The Berkeley Blog
Quote:
Call me a converted skeptic. Three years ago I identified problems in previous climate studies that, in my mind, threw doubt on the very existence of global warming. Last year, following an intensive research effort involving a dozen scientists, I concluded that global warming was real and that the prior estimates of the rate of warming were correct. I’m now going a step further: Humans are almost entirely the cause.

Berkeley is one of the most sought after schools on the planet. Your children wont be missed. LOL

UC Berkeley is too busy hosting people from around the world. Last week a delegation from the German state of Thuringia was visting.

Among the visitors were Wolfgang Tiefensee, the Thuringian minister for economic affairs, science and digital society and Jena Mayor Albrecht Schröter, as well as Berkeley Mayo Jesse Arreguin. The delegation also included German corporate CEOs and representatives, mainly from the optics, photonics, laser, and IT industries, as well as people from German universities and research institutes.

Here let me help you. Lets start with the dictionary!

big·ot
ˈbiɡət/
noun
noun: bigot; plural noun: bigots
a person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions.
"don't let a few small-minded bigots destroy the good image of the city"
synonyms:chauvinist, partisan, sectarian; More

Now, we can see that Berkeley fits the textbook definition of BIGOT. It may have been a once great school, but it's name is forever tarnished. You can't UNDO history.

Just look at Scott Adams!! Worth $75 million and he drops all support for his school. Says it's no longer safe for him.

Maybe they should start teaching ISIS 101. Sounds like it would be a runaway success with all the Berkeley BIGOTS.

Hahahaha so tarnished that the Israeli govt and Microsoft and a dozen other corporations, govt agencies and research institutes have entered into collaborations with UC Berkeley SINCE the Milo Bartakamous thing??

Mark Zuckerberg awarded $13 million to UC Berkeley scientists like yesterday for some breakthrough.

And so forth, it never stops.

Being shunned by dumbfukistan trump supporters is meaningless.

This is your ilk's way of ending bigotry?

Hypocrite much?

None of that changes the Bigoted behavior of Berkley. There will always be supporters of BIGOTRY.

As for me being a hypocrite? I wasn't in that video. I wouldn't even call myself a Trump supporter. I support ideas, not people. I support free speech, unlike the liberal bigots.

You can try to deflect attention away all you want, but it's all there for the whole world to see.

Berkeley liberals are the text book definition of Bigots. It's not like what happened in Berkeley is in doubt. BIGOT CENTRAL!

This is timed nicely with UC Berkeley's new start up incubator.
So what is the sudden frothing over Israel ?. The word fickle comes to mind in an instant. Seriously, Trump and Israel will be the best of buddies. Who knows maybe even a research bldg in UCB named in honor of Trump.

Haha the university itself did nothing wrong. They permitted him to speak but cancelled the event when rioters took over the protest.

The entire world outside of Fox News viewers understands that, hence the school's academic institutions are more in demand than EVER. Lol

And the school is rising to the challenge.
