Of course they are. Which is why they spent so much time reporting on the Comey letter that likely killed HC's campaign. Because they are in the tank for her and the Dems.

More fake news. Obama excluded Fox on at least one (and probably more) occasions.

"Unprecedented" means it never happened before.

But it has, not that long ago.

That's why this is fake news.

You might want to read the Constitution, because there's nothing in the Constitution that says the Media is entitled to be at briefings.

Read Post 242. And good luck thinking that a nation without a free press is a free nation.

It is amazing, followers of Trump do not ,supposedly, read listen or watch any of these
news channels so why the worry about what they say or write?
What is the worry?

If the emperor is so infallible why worry about what some
low down, no good for nutting press says?

Let them at it because all they tell is lies, right?

Should be easy enough to fend off anything they say unless
there really is something to the rumors.

It isn't crucial for CNN to either be there to witness it, or to report on it themselves.

One America News Network was at this event. If you wanted a report about the event, you could tune into that network. AP, The Washington Times and several others also were there. All will probably file reports of some kind, and I can't see any inherent barrier to anyone reading the reports from those outlets.

Besides...the correspondent to whom I was responding was claiming that there was some dire constitutional issue here. I was merely pointing out that the First Amendment merely prohibits Congress from passing laws in certain areas, freedom of the press being one of them.

If Congress didn't pass a law saying, in effect "Hey, CNN...you can't report on Trump!" (and Congress didn't do any such thing), then there isn't any First Amendment issue for CNN (or anybody else) to be concerned about.
In that case why exclude them?

BTW, Obama is a failed president. He isn't an example to follow.

Anytime you 'ban' access to journalists reeks of impropriety to freedom of the press .

See Nixon footnotes.

Epic boondoggle.
