I do too, this is all going to be very interesting to watch after the past eight years. And Republicans kind of have to take whatever crumbs Paul Ryan gives them because what else are they going to do?

Not necessarily.

They'll leave benefits to current old people more or less intact... and eviscerate benefits for younger generations. This keeps their base happy- and helps kill the middle class. It's a win/win.

Remember- Republicans are all for welfare so long as THEY are the ones receiving it.

Rand Paul calls it Obamacare Lite. It's actually worse than Obamacare, and will cost a lot more.

Don't like the fact that those on State insurance will not be allowed coverage regarding birth control or abortions

They can buy private coverage for that if they wish.

Actually no.

There is a change in the age band provisions where under Obamacare, older people couldn't be charged more than three times what young people were charged. This resulted in lower premiums for older people.

Republicans have changed it to a one to FIVE ratio since older people cost more, resulting in more expensive premiums for seniors and lower costs for young people.

Thanks GOP!

Aren't young people supposed to be saving money to pay down student debt? How the hell are they supposed to do that when they are busy subsidizing everyone's health insurance? If only those young healthy rioters dressed in all black knew that the left is taking advantage of them. They are already paying astronomical tuition prices and subsidizing their liberal college professors and university administrators. I find it absolutely ridiculous that they are somehow the key to unlock affordable healthcare for all. We need to stop exploiting young people by saddling them with lifelong debt. The solution is for people to take care of themselves so that demand for health care is reduced.

I disagree. This allows plans to remain what insurance should be for, large cost events not tied to lifestyle decisions.
