You can thank Obamacare as one of the reasons you got President Trump. You should have listened. Instead you ignored us, even when you lost seats in 2010, 2012, 2014 and now you've lost the presidency.
So then, in other words, there is NO effective coverage for pre-existing conditions? No cost-effective coverage, that is.
Should I feel bad that this is the Republican plan? I want to know what champagne Nancy and Chuck are having tonight. I have no illusions. Republicans are in control for the next four years and they are going to go as far right wing as they can but their supporters deserve what happens to them so I can't feel bad for them either.
The employer mandate is gone and along with it insurance coverage for hundreds of thousands if not more. Basically, several million are going to be SOL on health coverage under this bill. We'll have to see the poltical fallout but this is certainly not what Trump promised.

I never believed a word Trump said about health care and those that did deserve what they get. Remember Trump said he would reveal his taxes? Remember Trump said he had guys in Hawaii and they couldn't believe what they found? Trump supporters deserve what they get, even when it's a big fat goose egg. The one thing that Republicans should do to show they believe in their plan is go on it themselves.
Next, Paul Ryan needs to deliver on privatizing Medicare!!!
The new plan doesn't lower premiums but does greatly lower subsidies.
This is political solution that tinkers in an attempt to say they changed it. I see no benefit or cost reductions for insurers - they still have to take everyone regardless of health - and the risk corridors are gone.
But what does that really mean if insurers can price policies with preexisting conditions so high that they are unaffordable? We're right back where we started pre-ACA. One summary referred to a 30 percent price premium if insurance coverage is not continuous.
But if someone develops a serious illness ...
1. Is it possible to "game" the system by quickly getting coverage, albeit at a 30 percent premium plus an added cost for the "preexisting condition" - still worth it though to the now-sick person OR
They mention individual mandates, did anyone hear anything about employer mandates?
won't exist, as should have always been the case
