You experts really have no concept of how many layers someone has to go through to obtain permission to wire tap someone else. You simply do not go down to Radio Shack and get a wire tapper and hook it up to their phone. It would take a MASSIVE conspiracy involving a bunch of Governmental agencies and a Judge to do it. Ain't gonna happen.

He hacked, harassed, tapped, and spied on conservatives, especially Tea Party conservatives via Lois Lerner/IRS
He hacked and tapped Merkel.
And these are just the ones we've found out about -- so I don't find it difficult to believe he was behind hacking, tapping, spying on Trump and associates. I am sure there's been a lot of paper shredding and bleachbitting going on.

The only one that thinks Sharyl Attkisson was hacked is Sharyl Atkisson, she claimed that her computer was hacked right around the time her book on Benghazi was to be published with all that new information

Another reason whey we need a completely independent investigation.

Wiretaps do indeed require minimization—but generally only to the extent “consistent with the need of the United States to obtain, produce, and disseminate foreign intelligence information.” In some cases, when an intelligence agency issues a report based on a wiretap, minimization requires the issuing agency to substitute a generic reference in place of a U.S. person’s name—e.g., “Ambassador Kislyak said that he was looking forward to watching the Grammy Awards on television and that he was hoping that [U.S. Person] would win an award.”
But a U.S. person’s name can be used when it is necessary to understand the foreign intelligence information in the report, and no serious argument can be made that Flynn’s identity was not necessary to understand the intelligence significance of his call with Ambassador Kislyak. The call is foreign intelligence information mainly because it involves Flynn.

A president cannot direct wiretaps on anyone, wiretaps come out of our intelligence agencies not the president. If not for the Russian hacking into our election maybe none of this sees the light of day but it now important to have an independent investigation because of all the Trump staff contacts with the Russians leading up to and after the campaign.
So can we dispense with the Obama is spying on Trump nonsense.
