The fact remains... after months and months of the left claiming Trump paid zero taxes for 18 years, and Maddow making a big ta-do about having his tax returns (to get you to tune in) and now that it's a flop you want to move the goal post.
Trump contributed more to the community than 100,000 of you will ever do in an lifetime combined.
During the debates, Trump did not deny he had not paid taxes in RECENT years.
During the first presidential debate, during a discussion about Donald Trump's refusal to release his tax returns, Hillary Clinton noted that he's "paid nothing in federal taxes" in recent years. "That makes me smart," Trump bragged.
And then he lied about what we all saw:
Dana Bash (CNN): “My question for you is, first of all, it sounds like you admitted that you hadn't paid federal taxes and that that was smart. Is that what you meant to say?
CLINTON: ...maybe he doesn't want the American people, all of you watching tonight, to know that he's paid nothing in federal taxes, because the only years that anybody's ever seen were a couple of years when he had to turn them over to state authorities when he was trying to get a casino license, and they showed he didn't pay any federal income tax.
TRUMP: That makes me smart.
CLINTON: And maybe because you haven't paid any federal income tax for a lot of years. (APPLAUSE)

We don't know that. The 2005 return shows a $103 million write-off on Line 21. This is probably the loss write-off that he's carried over for many years. It's possible in other years where he made less income he used the carryover to result to little or no taxes paid.
It's obvious the White House leaked this to media to try to make him look good. He cherry-picked this tax year and these two pages for that reason.
Leftists only seek to distract Americans from what President Trump is achieving. While conservatives pay attention to what their government is actually doing rather than having the Lying Democrat Mainstream Media pull them around by the nose.
Liberals are easily misled.
He is the only president since Nixon that didn't release his returns because he claimed he was being audited, is the audit continuing or is there an end in sight. Demanding transparency isn't whining particularly because of his loans from Deutsche Bank and others including China. I would like to see some sources of income and his profits.

I wasn't born into money so not as much as someone who was born with a silver spoon in their mouth and inherited millions from my daddy along with the business contacts.
The 2 page copy was marked " client copy". The source of this return is Trump or someone who has access to his historical files. Leaking a 12 year old return could be intentional to divert attention away from potential Russian ties and/or allegations of wire tapping and/or healthcare.
Or, it could be a liberal conspiracy. Or, it could be a Russian ploy to divert attention (a favorite meme of the left). Or, it could be his tax guy is disgruntled because he didn't get paid like everyone else that works for Trump (a favorite meme of the left) and he/she leaked it.
Or, it could be EXACTLY what it looks to be, which is a "reporter" got some person (yet to be identified Trump hater) to magically place it in his mailbox.

Some people have a very short, selective memory.
Anyone who legally reduces the taxes they pay is smart. Do you pay more than you are required? With only a very short time to respond did you expect Trump and Hillary to get into a verbal battle

Hillary: No you don't

It's very simple, if you paid less in taxes, you're less useful to America and therefore have no right to criticize.
A lot of the US government is running on his tax dollars, not yours.
Let's say he paid just one year, how much taxes will you pay in your lifetime?
This has nothing to do with him paying what he owes every year or not paying because his bad judgement allowed him billion dollar write offs. Stay focused
