And yet he DID pay taxes at a higher rate than all of those he spoke about so how is that hypocrisy?
Still only one year. How about we use his 1995 return, he had $198M in income and paid $1M in taxes and he generated a carryover loss of $915M going forward, hypocrisy?
Neither of these two years provides a full story, how about Trump releasing all his tax returns like he promised to in 2015 and has since reneged. Tell me all those years are still under audit I need a good laugh.
Did he in fact say "I paid NO taxes"? Please present where he said that...
He twice inferred that he had not recently paid taxes. But you are right, We can't take what he says at face value since he says things like he is going to take care of everyone in regards to healthcare and that the government is going to pay for it. I guess he really didn't mean that either.

He had 198 million in revenue. And he had an operational loss of 915M. A business loss is a legitimate loss and carryover.
Have you ever run a business in your life?
There is no hypocrisy. The 1 million of dollars he paid in taxes that year was 1 million too much.
After learning that Trump in fact did pay taxes to the tune of $38 million, and that's not including state and local taxes and Democrats and Liberals still complain. It goes to show you that they'll never be satisfied with how much people pay.
Since Maddow completely crapped all over her own credibility AND sucked all the believers right along with her they're now left with only one out and that is to SPIN,SPIN,SPIN to try and salvage what's left of their shredded credibility.
Now MSNBC is trying to push the narrative that Trump leaked his own tax return. Proof? Who needs proof... Oh wait, according to NBC/MSNBC and their followers only Trump needs to show proof of what he says...
"Now MSNBC is trying to push the narrative that Trump leaked his own tax return."
Even if he did, it discredits the lefts (including the LSM) constant chant that he "paid ZERO taxes and gave ZERO to charity"
They have so much egg on their faces we can't tell who they are.
Again IF Trump is behind this, it proves AGAIN how smart he is at letting the LSM and the left bury THEMSELVES.
ONLY the very far left sheep will believe ANYTHING they say.

I'm a lefty and I agree 100% with this.
It's sad how so many people who are considered liberals (ya know, the open minded people, supposedly) can't see this and that it hurt them and made Trump look better by debunking their "TRUMP HASNT PAID TAXES IN 20 YEARS CLAIM".
Why didn't Maddow just read it, find out he paid a crapload of taxes in 2005, and decide to ....NOT publish this story and not make it a big deal?
And for those who claim she wasn't making it a big deal, no. It basically FLOODED my Facebook and Twitter feeds last night.....DURING the season finale of This Is Us, which was super-hyped to begin with.
Like I said in an earlier post, it made me laugh and embarrassed of why I'm a liberal.
so some of you guys believe Trump owes millions in back taxes? So you believe the IRS, with 80,000 employees has been able to keep this quiet during a Presidential election?......ludicrous, utter buffoonery
Lois Lerner is NOT the only dem supporter at the IRS.
