I could easily argue that Amish culture is incompatible with America. They are completely different than the mainstream Americans in this country. So different that they live together in what amounts to communes and discourage communication with outsiders.

My idea is this: You can live and practice your belief system all the live long day as long as you aren't hurting others or trying to get others to live by your faith. IMHO, Christians and Muslims are guilty of the latter. Just do your thing, realize others don't subscribe to your beliefs and we can all live in peace. Why is this such a difficult concept?

Basically, the Marshall plan wasn't about America trying to be nice. It was to prevent Europe from falling to the Soviets. To hold Europe in the American sphere of influence.

Yet, one of the creators of the Women March calls for America to be under Sharia Law and look how many are blindly following her, scarf and all. The Amish are not calling for America to change and as far as I know they never have......now if you want to talk about puppy mills!
