Now if you're asking whether it was cost-effective - I have no clue.

But then I think this whole mid-east exercise in quelling hatred by thorough bombing is one huge boondoggle, so I think it hardly matters which bombs are used. Except of course to the unfortunate bombees, and the folks who care about them.
I'm surprised that your skepticism doesn't run hotter than that.

After all this time that we were supposed to be killing ISIS, now they're in Afghanistan?

I'm sorry, but I just don't believe any of these reports anymore.

I'm not so sure the "k" was left off intentionally. As bad as people are these days at science and math, it would not surprise me at all if the graphic artist, editor, and proof reader all have no understanding of what the "k" means, so they completely missed it.

Daily Caller says the number of ISIS fighters killed is "staggering".
Nearly 100 ISIS Fighters Killed By MOAB In Afghanistan | The Daily Caller
Dunno about staggering, but 100 is pretty good.
22 bodies in one cave, 60 in another, 10 in a third.

Civilians:
To me, they are all civilians. They are not uniformed members of an army of a country who belongs to The United Nations. So they are civilians. And I am glad they are dead.

If ISIS were ever to succeed in establishing themselves as a head of a country and were thus awarded a membership in the UN, there would be hell to pay. Kill them now, before they make real progress in establishing a real army and acquire the credentials of a real country.

Notice as well how "the big man bomb" was supposed to have gone off in some mountain somewhere in Afghanistan of all places. They're so clever . I mean how how can anybody see if go off. It could'nt be in Long Island or somewhere, then we all could see it ........right ?

Another thing . Ok, lets think about if for one minute. Afghanistan had Russian forces in there several decades ago. Russia and USA are supposed to be enemies. As one Liberal pundit said in MSNBC , this is all a charade as the Russians and Americans staged the whole thing together and tricked us all by using the cheap black and white Chinese made cameras to make everyone think it was the Chinese who were trying to blame the Russians and Americans who in turn were trying to fool the OP.

Why are you surprised by this? If they're succeeding - and by that, I mean leading the fight - why wouldn't afghanis form their own version of ISIS? It's kind of the nature of ISIS.

Oh, I think you can believe that we are escalating our mid-east adventure.

Just think back to 1968 or thereabouts, it will all seem all too familiar.

This is how we get to people arguing that there were no kids killed at Newton.

Do we need the equivalent of Hussein's dead sons every time some attack happens in the Middle East?

I always knew that USA Today was a garbage paper, but that was pretty bad.

ANY Nuke makes the Moab look like a weak firecracker.

Graphic Fail: USA Today Thought MOAB Was Almost As Destructive as Hiroshima A-Bomb

Haha. They weren't the only ones.

They weren't thinking at ThingProgress
