working class Trump voters celebrating that the House passed a bill that the members made sure exempted themselves because it is so bad? The logic is completely absent.

Why would the House Republicans exempt themselves if its so great for the people?

So many people are excited, either everyone is far richer than I am, or they don't really understand how this will impact everyone. Those making a ton of money will come out of this better than they were, anyone less than $100K and certainly below $30K will have a very rough go at it, higher premiums, less coverage, 30% penalties if you can't afford insurance for a short period of time due to personal circumstances and capping all Medicaid payments. It's sad. Obamacare wasn't perfect, and needed adjusting, but the things this bill does, well many of them are just plain evil!
Cuts medicaid by 800 billion to be specific, and makes it easier to slowly let it die over time. Basically its the real deal for death panels.

Trump does it again! Celebrate! Twitter: "Cases upon cases of beer just rolled into the Capitol on a cart covered in a sheet. Spotted Bud Light peeking out from the sheet."

The repealed Obamacare....that was the goal. That's it - they haven't a clue where we go from here.

Idiots -- and I'm struggling to see how anyone can 'celebrate' this.

This isn't a victory for anybody. This is a pathetic measure of what a mess this country is in.

It's an act that people held their nose to vote for -- that's Making America Great Again.

Y'all have some sick way of measuring greatness.

I want rid of it as it's not what we need. We need UHC. There are many that agree with me they just won't be as open about it.

Do I want what the GOP is offering? NO.

Yep.

You're complaining about higher premiums? pfft... that takes nerve. Would you be ok with paying $920 a month like I have to pay because of Obamacare?

How the hell did you come up with that? I'm not "whining" that she might need Medicaid, I'm stating the fact that this lousy plan the GOP threw together will reinstate pre-existing condition exclusions and lifetime caps, which could force her onto public assistance programs at a cost to the taxpayer.

This is terrible. I'm not sure why anyone would celebrate this. Being without insurance is a risky spot to be in, in this country.
