Republicans mounted fierce opposistion to Hillarycare and it died.

Bush 2 campaigned on creating affordable healthcare for low income people. Nothing came of it.

No Republican voted for the ACA.

117 years of opposition and now it appears Republicans have been backed into a corner and have to replace the ACA with something and own it because Trump promised " to replace Obamacare with something wonderful that will take care of everybody and the Government is going to pay for it".

Political theatre does not get any better than this, in terms of a spectacle. We got the Rocky theme blaring. We got some singing " NA NA NA NA". We got beer. We got selfies and atta boys.

I can and do appreciate uncertainty causes anxiety for a whole lot of people, no matter the politics.
When all the craziness is done, we have reality to deal with... thus so, I'd say, people need to be prepared and have a firm grip within understanding what we are facing and how and what we must do to move forward in ways that respect "all" american people and provide health care that if function and reasonable unto and for the mass majority of this democratic society.

We know the Republican mess, has presented nothing but the constructs of a sham, that is hollow, likely filled with polluting gases aimed at damaging Medicaid and Medicare in the process of its trek of havoc making madness. .

When are we going to hold trump accountable for the nonsense he spews out? Obviously it was a winning strategy with "our" electorate, but the rhetoric is only going to get worse if we don't call people out on it. This is nothing like a "big beautiful health care plan".

Republicans *officially* delete their promise to protect pre-existing conditions, purging the promise from their website.

That's one way to keep promises, erase them.

It's like it never happened.

Pretty unbearable. As was so much of his pre-election B S and most everything since.

Yep. I hope this is not going to ever be the case, yet if it were something like this, it would be interesting to see the reaction by those who have been complaining so long and hard.. after realizing that it was not repaired (as promised) to their liking and is even worse. Who will they be blaming then?
