For those celebrating this as some sort of victory, why would replacing a bad law with an even worse one be a victory? It sounds like another instance of party over country, and other fellow Americans.

We are never going to have universal affordable health care until the investment aspect is gone. By it's very nature prices MUST go up. Obama thought the (D)s were in the drivers seat for years. He badly misjudged. The $2500 lie hurt bad.

Do I really have to explain that the (D)'s held big majorities in 2009 and now control nothing?
Read your first link...you don't even have to go into the article. Just the headline alone says that UHC profit soars as Obamacare biz shrinks. Quite the opposite that you were suggesting. From the second article:
"Aetna AET +0.82%, Humana HUM +2.16% and UnitedHealth Group UNH +0.86% were among the major carriers to pull back from business on public exchanges after they were unable to successfully manage the mounting claims from sick patients who purchased Obamacare policies."

If insurance companies are making big profits like you are suggesting, why are they pulling back from some of the states?

Yes, indeed. Another instance.

For healthcare...he is the only one who openly pushed for universal health care as a part of his platform

It's not IF, they are. Insurance costs are not going up? Insurance companies are a Wall Street investment vehicle. You do understand how that works? They require ever growing profits. They drop the less profitable business. People get less choices and have to pay more for the declining options.

Prices go up. Prices are going up. We aren't saving $2500. Insurance companies have to go.

Let the left bash and cry and we enjoy another great day!
dont get too happy, as it stands there is no hope of this getting through the senate. the senate will not even consider a vote until they see the score.

And if it does go through as it is, it will condemn the GOP for many years. Dancing around on the White Lawn, rolling out the beer, is not going to play well against dying kids come 2018..

We tried Obamacare. It failed. Lets see if the GOP can do better. Thanks to Obamacare they have a very low bar for achievement.

They have had 7 years and haven't come up with anything that will pass the Senate yet. Did you not know that?
