People of all races have contributed to music. Ever hear of Motown which had several black singers like Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Four Tops, etc? Soul & gospel music, etc? Tejano music? Carlos Santana?
In some ways that is a little more impressive, especially the musicians of color that started before the Civil Rights era during the Jim Crow era.
Should we talk about sports?....baseball, basketball, football. Hockey is definitely a white dominated sport, but not the first three.

Lol! Thanks. You mentioned a few good musicians, too! I also like several white groups. I was a Beach Boys fan as a teenager & in my 20's (in the 70's & 80's). Also like Electric Light Orchestra, Huey Lewis & the News, Steely Dan, etc.
I'm not white, but I am glad to be living in a society that was founded largely on anglo-saxon principles. I personally believe it has produced the most civilized societies in the world.
Let's look at the other side of the coin then, shall we? I am part Native American, and if this culture would have dominated this continent, we would be way behind on technological innovation.

I really don't understand the anti-white sentiment. The only way it makes sense is if people are just jealous and bitter, which appears to be the case.
Europeans borrowed the above technologies and without access to those Arab and Asian inventions Europeans would be living in societies much less modern than Arabs or Asians. And fact is the things you believe are not actual reality, but rather the beliefs of racists like Adolf Hitler and the KKK.
And what did Europeans do with the technology they borrowed from Arabs and Asians?
And they left us a world where even the animals in the ocean are filled with harmful man-made chemicals.
Europeans also left us a world with huge numbers of people living in unthinkable poverty, a world running out of fresh water supplies, vanishing top soil needed for farming, without antibiotics to destroy new germs, and a totally unregulated world where terrorist groups will soon have access to biological weapons capable of killing 100's of millions of people.

You should have more respect for your Native American relatives, because Native American societies had respect for nature and the animals around them. And Native Americans would never have destroyed this planets ecosystems like the white people you so much idolize.

Even if the Native American cultures had never advanced, we wouldn't know any differently and would be contented to live in a simpler society. Many of us only embrace Western culture because we are born into and immersed in it and forced to live in it.
The Chinese were by far the most advanced civilization in the world during Europe's Dark Ages. Achievements in the Middle East during that time are highly exaggerated.
East Asia is now back at near parity with the West and may well surpass it in this century. The Middle East, for all its windfall oil money, does not appear capable of building world class societies.
I'd agree but: if talking China and Japan, their birthrates are so LOW both those countries will be almost dead by 2100 IMHO.
White people killed the Native Americans off and have greatly influenced middle Eastern and African culture. And to be honest, this is rarely present in how I look at political issues. BUT if you're gonna make sweeping assumptions about what the world would look like if... what? White people didn't colonize everything? Well, then I'm going to point out that you can't know... because they did. For all you know, we'd have colonies on Mars by now.
The fact is: race has nothing to do with civilizational development. Europeans got their technology because of needs that other cultures didn't have. I believe it was Francis Bacon who said that three basic innovations were what made the world better, believing them to have originated from Europe (gun powder, printing press, compass). They all came from China. If we assume that Europeans rapid development that occurred during the Renaissance was because of these things, then obviously the white race wasn't why.

Uh; how did white people kill off the American Indians? Please don't say "genocide" cause till about 200 years ago, nobody "knew" how smallpox and so on were even spread and, those SAME diseases kid a HUGE number of whites IN Europe earlier.

I'm of Irish family: we suffered badly as a "culture" but, WE had to change our ways like as in back off on the heavy drinking, brawling, being lazy and so on till we earned respect. Hell; IF some of my direct ancestors came back to life and, came to my house, I'd call the cops and have their despicable kind escorted off the property. Yes, many of them WERE that rowdy from what my grandparents told me.
The civilizational dick measuring contest is unnecessary. The West has made great achievements, but to associate this with whiteness, rather your are for or against it, doesn't actually make sense. The Greek contributed enormously to Western civilization, arguably starting it, and for the longest time, Greek people weren't considered white. The technological superiority the West claims is actually a result of the modern age. This mostly wasn't true prior to that time. The real major accomplishment of the West is in politics. The Greeks were fantastic, the Romans pragmatic, the Christian monarchs toxic, the liberal revolutionaries brilliant. Something has happened though as of late; politics is in dire condition. The greatest achievement of the west is likely in trouble again, just as it was after Rome fell. But instead of talking about putting the West on life support in hopes of saving it, we talk about whiteness' contribution...
Arabs, Italians, Greeks and many Hispanics ARE "white". Not all of us whities have light skin, hair and eyes. lol

The Irish people have a long Irish heritage of writers, poets and playwrights, having produced some of the world’s literary greats like Joyce, Wilde and Beckett. This craft of Abbey Theatre telling stories continues today through a rich tapestry of theatre, screen and other visual media.
This is just myself though, I admire SOME German, Irish, Japanese. hehehe
