Well, the Renaissance wouldn't have happened without the Black Plague, another Chinese import. So, yeah, I guess we owe it all to the East.
That's not really my point.
The civilizational dick measuring contest is unnecessary. The West has made great achievements, but to associate this with whiteness, rather your are for or against it, doesn't actually make sense. The Greek contributed enormously to Western civilization, arguably starting it, and for the longest time, Greek people weren't considered white. The technological superiority the West claims is actually a result of the modern age. This mostly wasn't true prior to that time. The real major accomplishment of the West is in politics. The Greeks were fantastic, the Romans pragmatic, the Christian monarchs toxic, the liberal revolutionaries brilliant. Something has happened though as of late; politics is in dire condition. The greatest achievement of the west is likely in trouble again, just as it was after Rome fell. But instead of talking about putting the West on life support in hopes of saving it, we talk about whiteness' contribution...
Wow, its kind of funny for you to laugh at the OP about anti-white sentiment and then out of the blue you call him a Nazi? You are sort of proving his point.
And btw, given the history, if I was from Argentina I would not be so careless about going around calling other people Nazi.
I'm not white, but I am glad to be living in a society that was founded largely on anglo-saxon principles. I personally believe it has produced the most civilized societies in the world.
Let's look at the other side of the coin then, shall we? I am part Native American, and if this culture would have dominated this continent, we would be way behind on technological innovation.
Or just look at existing societies such as all the countries in Africa or the middle east. Is this what anti-white people want?
I really don't understand the anti-white sentiment. The only way it makes sense is if people are just jealous and bitter, which appears to be the case.
Technology spreads, especially these days. If for instance, Europeans stayed in Europe and did not settle in North and South America, the Indians today would have access to modern technology.
History would be different of course, especially without the larger American countries like the United States and Brazil. It is actually an interesting what if type question.
A civilization is not something we simply inherit or ever finally possess. Each generation, individually and collectively, needs to make a continual effort to appropriate it anew because a civilization is not passed along to us at birth. A civilization is an elaborate structure of ideas and institutions, slowly built up over time by the intelligence and effort of countless individuals working alone and together. If we fail to understand and live out that complexity, which tries to answer to the complexity of human life itself, we can easily fall back to a less human existence. It has happened often in history.
I think western civilization created by majority of white people indeed made a world a better place. But many cannot really share this glory simply because they are white or part white. Doing so when you haven't personally made the world a better place is more like... hmm.. stolen valor.
It has little to do with skin color but adherence to cultural standards. Anyone black, white, whatever can and is a part of civilization, however, don't discount Anglo-Saxon civilization and culture just because many of those who contributed to it were white.
We aren't in a battle of skin color, we are part of a continuing battle of culture and civilizations.
Let's not forget about the poverty in Eastern Europe and the problems in Latin American countries (all controlled by white people for ~400 years). Any argument about this is really just glass half-full/half-empty.

You don't know your history or how past "races" advanced the world technologically.
All of those things that people are building off of now... (math, science, etc). Where do you think they started?
Ever heard of the Egyptians? Moors? The African king who crashed Egypt's economy he had so much money?
With that said. As a black man. ALL races have contributed. And we should appreciate each other's cultures and contributions. Life is too short. I've heard theory that "race" doesn't even exist anymore. Not like it used to mean. And the big kicker is we all come from the same family.
And the Irish and Italians too, right? ...one of the dumber ideas to emerge in the last decade.
