Ummm...he did say that he was going after ISIS, and how we need to "win again."

Doesn't sound like pacifism to me. That's signaling War intentions.

The more we go after ISIS or any other the more they recruit.

Looks like whatever the Pentagon is doing does not work.

And, there are lots of trump supporters who voted for him because they thought he would get & keep their military service family members out of harm's way. Boy, were they fooled!

I had friends who died under both Bush and Obama administration. I took a risk with Trump, I'd give him a full year to prove himself. boy, was I fooled? well, no politicians have kept anybody safe. I hope I will never say, "Trump is exactly the same."

If Trump is going to increase the troops in Afghanistan, he is asking for his own Vietnam. It will be an endless quagmire. How ironic that someone who obtained five deferments to get out of Vietnam is going to end up mired in it.

He's also arming the Kurds in Syria now.

Trump has had a taste of warmongering and discovered that he enjoys it as much golf.

The logic of Trump and his team is absolutely absurd:

Quote:
The goal is to make “incremental progress” in coming years in the hope that those gains will be enough to persuade the Taliban to make concessions that will lead to peace,
"Persuade Taliban to make concessions that will lead to peace?!?!" ARE THEY SERIOUS?!

The Taliban thrives on war with America! Even when their own men die, they celebrate the fact that US military members will die and their efforts are costing the American economy tens of millions of dollars.

Taliban and ISIS want nothing more than to lure us back into a long, expensive, unwinnable ground war.

The arm$ indu$try is certainly grateful. I expect we will see more industry meetings, conventions and celebrations on Trump properties.

Making money is fun!
