Nope, it (or any other Amendment) place no limits on how big a jackass the POTUS may act like.

Why not? We all like to know what orders Trump is getting from Putin, right?

Doesn't take much brain power to know what went on in the meeting.

The Russian ambassador and Trump himself pretty much summed up what any rational person would already know.

It was a diplomatic first meeting to lay ground work for future relationships. More a social visit than anything substantive other than raising concerns of both countries and expressions of intentions to find practical solutions both countries can agree to or not. Big whoop.

Freedom of the press does not give the press unfettered access to the President or the White House.

And, look what happened when the press was at State when Tillerson and the Russian Ambassador spoke briefly. The silly American press screamed out questions about Comey. Seems like they have no pertinent questions to ask re a meeting with Russian officials. So why have them there to derail the meeting?
maybe some of us would like to decide for ourselves and not listen to what the Liar-in-Chief has to say. You know, the one who has fired three people conducting investigations into him and his administration and associates. And BS on everything else in your post because the media was there - the RUSSIAN media. It doesn't take much brain power to realize how inappropriate that is for the AMERICAN Executive Office. If this were the Kremlin, you might have a point. But it's not the Kremlin, not yet at least. By the time Trump gets finished, who knows?

Russian Media Invited Into Trump's Closed-Door Meeting With Kremlin Officials | Fox News Insider
Reporters have pointed out that the photos of Trump and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Amb. Sergey Kislyak were taken by Russian media at the White House, while U.S. media was not invited.

No big surprise from the Russian HO-Comrade Trump, but I would love to see American Media totally refuse to acknowledge the foreign agent Trump.......EVER!!!!!!!

I think Trump would actually welcome that.

But then the Leftist MSM would start losing money, so their little boycott wouldn't last very long.

So you'd rather listen to media spin than hear something right from the source.

Interesting...

The Russian press has access to the WH. The American press doesn't.

Guess the Kremlin is running the WH now
