Intent can be established by a lack of timely attendance to the matter. He had a lot of time and he could have reported this to ANYONE in public office or the military.

His lack of reporting such needs to be a reasonable decision, so what is his reasonable decision to wait as long as he did?

There isn't any reasonable means for him to wait for as long as he did as he could have reported this to anyone to establish a record at any time and not endanger the investigation.

This is why this whole thing is BS.

It's so cute how so many posters here copy and paste federal statutes thinking that the language of the statute is the be-all, end-all. They fail to realize there are cases where courts have interpreted those statutes that have to be considered.

Liar in Chief but hopefully not, for much longer.
U do know that even if Trump is impeached Hillary does not become president right?

I forget the exact wording of the question that was asked of Dan Coats but it was essentially--- if he and Admiral Rogers compared notes about a supposed presidential request to stop/slow down the investigation that each had supposedly received.

Following a rather tense number of seconds, he was also very reluctant to answer but said, ----he didn't feel comfortable discussing that in public.

If Comey is true, if Rodgers is true, if Coats is true and if contacts to Nunes and Burr are true---the President is going to have a very hard time with intent.

You do know that virtually everyone knows it will be Pence, and that he will be far more capable in delivering conservative changes and laws, while not crushing the GOP election chances.

People don't want Trump impeached or gone for political reasons. They want him gone because they feel he is a criminal, or incompetent. Apparently the whole country before party is a hard thing for some folks to understand.

My issue with Trump is I don't believe he's mentally competent or emotionally equipped for the job. I want someone in that position who is sane and stable, someone who will not govern based on how insulted they feel at any particular moment. I want someone in that job who is smarter than the average 12-year-old and who doesn't act like an insolent teenager with Oppositional Defiant Disorder.

Is it too much to ask that the person be a fully functioning adult, who has some compassion for all Americans, isn't trying to line their own pockets or rule like a dictator?

Exactly. I don't think it is too much to ask, or it shouldn't be, as we have had functioning presidents and would have never expected this. We have never been this far off course before. I have thought that even if one of his Conservative opponents would have gotten in instead, we would not be in this much trouble. This was a GIANT mistake and feels as if the entire 2016 race was derailed from the time he became involved, being a constant distraction, running all opponents into the ground and inciting such negativity in some. We don't know what occurred entirely to have him 'win", but feels that something went wrong.

As posters have mentioned, there are signs regarding his involvement. With more exposure than when in his "old life", he is luckily hanging himself through his behavior. Like others, I have been distressed from beginning and just waiting. Tick-Tock. ⏳
