Seriously? White "cis" male? Ummm, ok, so being born male and having no problem being male, not feeling as if you have to deny it and "identify" as something else is just...wrong? Oh, and being of White skin tone is something else to be ashamed of and thus inflicting some sort of punishment on yourself for being born that way is called for? Where do these people come up with this bilge?


Is it prerequisite anymore for high education to be synonymous with just being daffy as an outhouse rat? This "cis" term...I just can't wrap my head around this concept. Being happy with the way I was born is unacceptable, but only because I'm white and male. Wow. So I'd be OK, but only if I expressed unhappiness with the way I was born. I've got to deny what I am, "identify" as being female inside, or at the very least state that I hate what I am and wish I could change it somehow. Or perhaps as suggested by this professor, inflict some sort of punishment on myself for the unpardonable sin of having been born White and male. Amazing.
